If I�d made other choices

I wonder where in life I�d be

And how my life would differ

Would I be a different me?

If I had taken another route

And said yes instead of no

And carefully thought of a plan

To my options long ago

Perhaps God had plans for me

To soothe a troubled soul

And ease someone�s burdens

Who�s life had taken toll

Or maybe I was needed

For a life about to end

To care for and to cherish

A body that wouldn�t mend

The road I choose was rocky

I stumbled along the way

But had it been too easy

I wouldn�t be who I am today
