Some Quilts I Have Made
The first quilt I hand quilted was in 1996 and was hand-pieced by my Mother several years before then.  The pattern is called nine block and it is a king size quilt.
The name of this quilt pattern is spinwheel and was hand-pieced also by my Mother but quilted by me.  This was a gift to my son, Jason.
This is my Fall quilt.  It is hand-pieced but not quilted yet.  The pattern is called beartracks and it is also a king size quilt.  One day I will finish it!
This quilt pattern is called crisscross.  I pieced this on the sewing machine but quilted it by hand. The back is navy blue with beige stitching.
I finished this king size quilt in September 2005.  It is my own design, and I named it crazy corners.  I enjoy finishing a quilt so I can start on the next one!
A fun and informative place for all quilters to visit is the Virginia Quilt Museum in Harrisonburg, Virginia.  It is housed in a 1886 three level home and is chocked full of old and new quilts.  This would be of interest to all quilting enthusiasts.   My friend, Kay, and I went there this summer!  See our picture below.
Kay and I taught a quilting class during the winter of 2005.  We taught machine and hand quilting.  It was very fun and informative for all of us involved, and we had great quilted wall hangings when the class was over.
