Roasted Green Beans
Roasting brings out the sweetness in vegetables, and is an easy preparation method as well. Serve warm on a small platter with Balsamic vinegar drizzled over the beans.

1 lb green beans, washed and trimmed
1/2 onion, sliced
1 clove garlic, sliced
Olive oil
Balsamic vinegar

Toss beans, onion, and garlic with a small amount of olive oil, and spread out on a baking sheet. (Alternatively, drizzle oil directly on the vegetables on the baking sheet.) Bake in 400 degree oven for 25 minutes, or until tender. Drizzle with Balsamic vinegar and serve.
