My name is Katherine. I was born in Peru. I am 16 years old. Now I'm passing to 11th grade. I need one more year to be a senior, and I'm going to graduate.
When I moved to the U.S., it was a difficult thing, because everything was different. I came here 2 years ago but I came alone. I came in an airplane. I wanted to come here because I want to be a professional person. In this country, I live with my uncles.
I have a lot of things that I like to do, but at the same time, I have dislikes. I like to watch T.V, listen to music, dance and talk on the phone. I don't like to wash the dishes and read. All the time in my house, I have to do the things that I like and the things that I don't like.
My family lives in Peru. I have one sister, and she is 5 years old. my parents are separated and my little sister lives with my mom. They are going to come to this country but we don't kow yet. I hope that they can came soon, because I miss them a lot and I want to see them.
I also have a lot of plans for my future. First I want to graduate from High School. Then I want to go to the College, because I want to be a nurse. I know that it will be difficult but I can do it. I have to be an example for my sister.
