Part 11

Larin watched forlornly as Garak and Julian left the room. Turning in his husband's arms he buried his face in his chest.

Marrett's arms closed around him, holding him tight. He felt Marin come up behind him and place one of his small hands on his back for comfort.

Pulling himself together for his family he lifted his head. "Well that didn't go very well," he murmured with a sad smile.

"Why was he so angry papa?" Marin asked softly, pressing his cheek to Larin's leg. The young boy was frightened from seeing his father being grabbed in anger, and sought comfort in his closeness.

Larin closed his eyes when he heard the fright in Marin's voice. Moving out of Marrett's embrace he knelt down and embraced his son.

"Oh Marin, Garak was just scared, that's all. Sometimes when people get scared they react in anger." Larin said soothingly. He tilted his son's face up so that he could look him in the eye. "Don't worry yourself, everything is ok now."

"But why is Garak scared papa? Is he mad at us?" Marin asked confused.

"No Marin, he is not really mad at us. Garak is just having a hard time with some things right now," Larin said.

He looked up at his husband standing over them protectively. "Why don't we head back to our quarters now? We can talk about it there."

Marrett simply nodded his agreement. He bend down and picked up his son, holding him in his arms.

Marin wound his arms around Marrett's neck and laid his head on his shoulder.

Slowly rising, Larin moved to their side, but was stopped by voice and a hand on his arm. "Just a moment, " he heard. Turning around he saw Constable Odo looking at him with a sharp glance.

The Changeling released him and crossed his arms over his chest. "What did Garak mean, you've been watching him. What is going on here?" he questioned the Hebitian.

Larin sighed and raised a hand to his head wearily. "I'm sorry Odo, but I really can't talk about it. I'm sure that everything will be resolved soon though," he said shortly. The younger man really didn't want to get trapped in a conversation with the Changeling at the moment, wanting nothing more than to go back to his quarters and try to get himself together.

Odo shook his head slightly. "That's really not good enough Gul'en. If there has been some kind of criminal...."

Pushed past his limits the younger man stiffened in anger. "Nothing illegal has been going on Constable," Larin said frostily, interrupting the Changeling mid-sentence. "Frankly I resent the implication and I am not going to stand here and listen to your accusations!"

"Larin," Marrett said softly as he moved to stand beside him, still holding onto Marin. "Odo is just doing his job. He is not accusing us of anything."

Larin spun around to glare at Marrett. "I'm sick and tired of the constant criticisms I have had to deal with since I've arrived," Larin said angrily, upset that Marrett was defending Odo. Turning back to the Constable he said, "Unless you are going to arrest me I am going back to my quarters now."

With that last statement the angry man turned and stormed out of the room leaving behind his surprised friends.

Marrett looked around the room quickly and spotted Alieanne. Catching his look the Vorta moved over to his side.

"Alie, can you please take Marin for a little while," He hushed Marin's protest that he wanted to go with him. "I'm sorry Marin but I have to talk papa for a bit. You go with Alie and I will come and get you later. It will be ok," he said kissing him on the forehead.

Alie reached over and took the teary boy from his father. Going to a chair she sat down and cuddled the distraught boy, whispering reassurances in his ear.

Seeing that his son was well taken care of, he turned to Odo. "You have to forgive Larin Constable. He had been under a lot of stress lately and he tends to over react sometimes."

Odo nodded. "I understand. I didn't mean to upset him with my questions."

"I'm sure he'll understand. I'm going to go and talk to him," Marrett said as he turned and left to follow after his husband.

Heading back to his quarters Marrett worried over his husband's reaction to Odo's questioning. Usually Larin was quite calm and was slow to anger. His outburst at Quark's just went to show his worried husband how close the younger man was to breaking down.

Entering their quarters, Marrett was immediately approached by Larin's worried parents.

"Marrett what's going on?" Larinea asked her son-in-law with concern. She looked over her shoulder at the closed door to her son's room. "Larin just came back very upset and he won't talk to us. What happened? I wasn't expecting you all back for awhile."

Marrett sighed and massaged his temples. "He had a confrontation with Garak a the dance. It seems that Elim is starting to remember things about his past and he accused Larin of causing the memories somehow. They got a little physical and Elim demanded some answers out of him."

Tremane and Larinea exchanged a long look, their faces serious.

"What did Larin do?" Tremane asked softly. He was concerned about his son's state, but needed to know what happened.

"Larin told him that he needed to talk to you, that you could answer all his questions. Garak grabbed him and demanded to know right now, but Larin refused. Julian has him down in the infirmary running some tests." Marrett said as he stared towards the closed door, wondering how he was going to help Larin.

" Do you think I should go to the infirmary to see Elim?" Tremane asked the younger man, torn between stay to help his son and helping Garak with his memories.

"I won't advise it right now. Both Elim and Julian are pretty shook up and I don't think that your presence would be welcomed right now. Maybe you can go tomorrow and see if Elim will talk to you," Marrett said. "But that is not the only reason Larin is so mad. Garak made some accusations about Larin following him and after he left Odo started to question him about possible criminal activities. You can guess how he reacted to that."

"Oh dear. That wasn't the most tactful thing for the Constable to do," Larinea said with a sigh. She knew how proud her son was and an accusation like that would make him furious.

"Lets just say Larin didn't take it too well," Marrett said wryly. He turned to his husband's parents. "I'm going to see if I can calm him down. Do you mind taking Megwyn for a while? Marin is with Alieanne and he is upset as well. Maybe he would settle down better if you are there with him."

Without a word Larinea went into Megwyn's room and gathered up the little girl. Tremane quickly packed up some baby supplies.

Walking over to Marrett, Larinea placed a kiss on his cheek. "Don't worry Marrett, you'll get through to him." With another kiss, she turned and left with her husband, leaving Marrett alone with his husband.

Taking a steadying breath Marrett entered their bedroom.

Larin laid on the bed with an arm flung over his face. He didn't acknowledge his arrival so he moved to and sat down gently on the side on the bed. Looking down at his husband he could feel the anger still boiling in him, but mixed with it was a sense of despair and guilt.

Reaching over Marrett started to lightly stroke his hair.

"Hey," he said quietly to the younger man while sending thoughts of comfort and love to him.

With a sigh, Larin withdrew his arm to look up at him. "Hey," he said softly.

"It's not your fault you know," Marrett told him gently. He pulled Larin up and slipped behind him in the bed, resting his husband against his chest, taking it as a good sign that Larin did not resist him.

He reached up and unclasped the feather tie holding up Larin's long, soft hair, placing it on the table beside the bed. Soothing Larin's hair down again he drew his arms around him, holding him tight.

Larin sighed again, leaning into his husband's body. "I've made a mess of everything Marrett," he said sadly.

Marrett placed a small kiss on his temple. "No you haven't love."

"I have," Larin insisted. "Elim hates me, Odo thinks I am some kind of criminal, and Marin is probably scared out of his mind seeing me throw a fit." Lifting his hands he pressed his palms against his eyes.

"Elim doesn't hate you Larin, he is just confused. Tremane is going to go and see him tomorrow. Odo was just doing his job, and by the way the way he apologizes for questioning you like that," Marrett turned the lithe body in his arms so that he could look his husband in the face. "As for Marin, you know he loves you. The kid is crazy about you."

Larin gave his husband a weak smile and reached up to touch his cheek. "We have a wonderful son Marrett. Where is he?"

"Alieanne has him and Megwyn is with your parents, and your parents are on their way to pick up Marin. I thought that we could use some time to ourselves."

Closing his eyes Larin snuggled deeper into Marrett's arms. "That would be nice, but could we get the kids later? I don't wanted them to be gone over night."

"I figured that love. I told Larinea and Tremane that we would be by for them later," Marrett said. He tilted Larin's head up and waited for the smaller man to open his eyes.

"I love you very much you know," Marrett said tenderly.

Larin smiled and nodded his head slightly. "I know. I love you too. Together forever right?"

"Forever," Marrett said as he leaned down and took his husband's mouth in a tender kiss.

"I know that the negotiations have been very stressful for you," Marrett said as they broke apart from the kiss.

"Yeah," Larin said softly as he looked down again. "Sometimes I feel that I shouldn't get so stressed out over this. After all I am a Gul'en. It's what I do, what I was raised for," He curled his hands into fists. "This should be second nature for me!"

Placing a finger under his chin he lifted Larin's face up again. "So what your saying is that you have no right to feel stressed out over the fact that you are conducting talks that will enable our people to live in freedom and security away from The Dominion," Marrett chuckled at the look of chagrin that crossed his husband's face. "Larin you are being unreasonable to yourself. Anyone in your situation would feel stressed out."

Larin laughed softly. "Well when you say it logically like that..."

Marrett's tightened his arms around him. "Larin, sometimes you are your own worse enemy. Give yourselves the benefit of the doubt once in a while."

Sighing Larin looked deeply into his husband's eyes. "It does sound silly when you say it. I just feel so overwhelmed sometimes."

"Anyone would Larin. You have to trust that you are doing a good job, and you are you know. We have a wonderful planet to settle on, the station seems to be adjusting to our presence, just trust yourself a little more."

"I trust you Marrett," Larin said softly as he tilted his head back, inviting his husband in for a kiss.

Marrett quickly accepted the offer and lower his head to kiss him.

Opening his mouth, Larin welcomed his husband's tongue in. They traded long, lazy kisses, both reveling in the fact that in over five years of marriage their desire for one another had not lessened in any way.

"Now, as to what you promised me at the dance. Are you still up for it?"

"Oh ya," Larin sighed into his mouth. "You can say that I am more than willing here."

Marrett chuckled and kissed him deeply again. Slowly unbuttoning Larin's blue shirt he pushed the soft material off his slender shoulders. Breaking away from the kiss his started to nibble on Larin's shoulder ridge.

With a gasp of pleasure Larin allowed his bigger husband to move him down to lie on his back.

Moving over Larin, Marrett pulled the shirt off Larin's arms. Quickly taking off his own shirt he leaned forward for another deep, soul searing kiss.

Larin reached up and caressed the soft, gray scales on Marrett's back. Moving his hands to his love's side he slid them down until he reached the waistband of his pants. With nimble fingers he undid the clasps and pushed the material down over his hips.

Marrett laughed and quickly shimmied out of his pants and undergarments, taking his socks with him. "You've been waiting for this all day haven't you."

Looking up with dark eyes Larin grinned ferally. "I did warn you remember and since I didn't get to dance long..." Larin said wickedly. He felt Marrett undo his pants and draw them down his legs. He laughed as Marrett slid his socks off and place a kiss on the top of each foot. "C'mere you. I have a better place for you to kiss."

Marrett look up at his grinning husband. "What if I like it down here?" he teased the younger man. Kissing his feet again he shifted even further down and place small kisses on his toes.

"Marrett," Larin groaned. He was almost fully aroused at this point and he didn't think he could handle his husband's teasing.

"Yes love?" Marrett said as he stroked one of his feet lightly. He knew the state his husband was in but wanted to tease him a bit more.

"Spirits Marrett, do something!" Larin shouted at him.

"Yes Gul'en" Marrett said as he moved back up his body. "Whatever you say Gul'en."

Any smart-assed comment that Larin was about to make was cut off as Marrett engulfed his hard penis into his warm mouth.

"Oh spirits....." Larin moaned and he grabbed at the sheets, twisting them in his hands. "Oh, oh love," he mumbled as his husband pleasured him.

Marrett knew that with the stress of the last few days Larin would not last long. Reaching over to the table he grabbed a small jar. Opening it quickly he dipped his fingers into the cool lotion, coating them liberally.

Moving his hand around his husband's body he moved to his opening, preparing the way for his entry.

With a gasp Larin raised his hips from the bed, consumed with the sensations his husband was creating. The dual sensation caused him to thrust up into the hot, wet mouth and thrust down onto the fingers that were stretching him. Groaning he reached up and grasped his long hair in his hands.

Sensing that Larin was ready, Marrett pulled back. "Get up on your knees and turn around love," he said hoarsely.

Larin quickly moved into position, panting with arousal.

Quickly putting some lotion on his own throbbing member he threw the jar to the bed. Moving up behind his mate he pushed his long, silky hair off his neck. Nipping a neck ridge roughly he turned to whisper in Larin's ear.

"Are you ready?" Marrett said softly.

All Larin could do was whimper and press back against his husband.

Marrett smiled and moved to take his mate. Entering him in one stroke, pausing when he was all the way in. He froze for a moment, savoring their closeness, drinking in the swirling emotions between the two of them.

Larin pushed back again, signaling his need for his husband to start moving.

Reaching around the younger man he held him tightly around the waist and started to thrust up into the open body.

Moving his arms back Larin encircled his husband's neck and turned around to kiss his husband deeply. He moaned into his mouth as the older man sped up his hips, thrusting faster.

Lowering a hand, Marrett encircled his husbands straining penis, stroking it in time with his thrusts.

Larin yelped and leaned his head back on Marrett's shoulder, his face twisted with pleasure.

"Oh spirits Marrett, I'm almost...gods...." Larin said as he twisted in his grasp. Spirits, even after five years the sex was still so intense he thought.

Feeling his orgasm building up Larin turned his head to kiss his lover one more time, taking his husband's tongue into his mouth again.

With one more thrust the younger man's body stated to shake, his orgasm slamming into him. Coming over his husband's hand he shook and then fell limp in his embrace.

Sharing the feelings of his husband's release pushed the older man into his own orgasm. With a few more hard thrusts he gave a load shout and came deep with in him.

Tumbling to the bed the two men laid there panting for air.

Sliding off his husband's back, Marrett gathered the younger man into his embrace.

Larin laid his head on Marrett's chest still trying to catch his breath. They reveled in the feeling of contentment and love that they were both generating for each other.

Marrett waited for his heart to stop beating so hard. He lightly stroked the soft hair of his husband, enjoying the post-coital lassitude.

A sharp feeling of amusement and lust roused him from his thoughts. Looking down he saw Larin grinning up at him.

Groaning, Marrett laughed at the look of devilment on his love's face. "You're ready to go again aren't you!" he said to him.

Larin moved up his body, his lips hovering over Marrett's mouth. "I did warn you earlier. Nothing is going to save you tonight.," he said as he licked his lips. He pressed a light kiss to Marrett's lip. "You up for it?" he quipped with a cocky raise of his eye ridge.

With a lightening quick move Marrett flipped Larin over onto his back. "I'll show you what I'm up to imp," he said as he moved to take his husband again.

Larin's shrieks of laughter were silenced as Marrett applied himself to the pleasurable task.
