We all had a glorious time visiting Stacey, Michaela, Micah, and Malachi in Orlando, FL!  We did so much that we are going to have to take a vacation from our vacation!   

After Adam processed out at Ft. Benning, GA, we both drove to Orlando via I-95 along the "Palm Coast" of FL.  It was so pretty seeing all the palm trees there!  We got to Stacey's apartment around 7:30 pm on Friday night.  On Saturday, we went to Pointe Orlando Mall and ate lunch at a mexican restaurant there!  The food was great!  as was the conversation!  From there Adam and I checked in at the Amerihost Hotel.  It's about a mile from Disneyworld!  On Sunday, we had to listen to a timeshare presentation to get two free tickets to Disneyworld's Magic Kingdom and two free tickets to a dinner theatre called "Arabian Knights". 

Stacey & the kids had gotten tickets from a friend and they saw a couple of shows at Disney's MGM Studios while we were listening to the timeshare presentation.  She said they really enjoyed it!

By the time we got everyone situated it was around 2 pm before we got to Disney's Magic Kingdom.  I think our favorite show was Disney's Philharmagic!  They gave us these 3D glasses that everyone had to wear.  There was one scene where Donald Duck had a jar full of water that he splashed on everyone & we actually felt the water!!  Michaela & Micah were reaching out to try to catch everything because they seemed so close to you!

We also enjoyed riding Buzz Lightyear's Spin!  We had lazer guns that were attached to the ride & we could spin the ride around too!  It was neat firing our lazer guns at everything!  Stacey was the top winner with over 11,000 points!! 

Michaela just loved "Cinderella's Show". All of the Disney princesses & princes were there too!  There was Beauty & the Beast, Snow White and the Prince, Aladdin & Jasmine, and I'm sure I left off someone!  Then as it got dark the castle lit up with blue & pink lights!  It was sooo pretty!  And we made tons of pictures! 

It was an unforgettable memory spent with those that I love -- my children and grandchildren!

On Monday, July 3rd, we went to the pools at the hotel and the kids swam & played in the water (even us big kids!)  Then on Tuesday, the 4th, Stacey & Adam went to see Arabian Knights (a dinner theatre).  They said that they had a really good time!  They got pictures made while they were there.  In the meantime, I took Michaela, Micah, and Malachi to a park by the water in Winter Garden, FL (where Stacey lives).  It was Malachi's first time to hear and see the fireworks (he's only one year old) and it really scared him to death!!  I honestly didn't think that it would affect him like it did, so we stayed for some of it then left.  But, it was really pretty, just very loud for a baby!  Michaela & Micah jumped in some of the jumping ride thingy's that they had there.  And we all shared a strawberry snow cone.  I also bought them a light up necklace.

On July 5th, Adam and I drove home.  I'm not sure about Adam, but, I was so exhausted!! I took two naps on the ride home!
