Sunday - The Lord's Day!

Today I wasn't feeling up to par & worshipped the Lord in my home by watching Central Baptist Church in Decatur, AL on TV this moring!  And what a blessing!  The pastor was teaching in Acts 9: 11-31 concerning Saul (who was a persecutor of the Jews) and how he was a "chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel". 

Oh, the Lord chose Saul -- a murderer!  And Saul went on to win many to the Lord!  If the Lord chose Saul, I certainly know that He chose me!  I am not worthy of His love but, he loves me so much that he died on the cross for me!  Little 'ol Kathy, who gets stressed out over relationship issues, who lives from paycheck to paycheck -- God must have a purpose for me! 

v. 19 - "And when he had received meat, he was strengthened!"  Meat -- spiritual meat!  It was a very timely message for me.  I have been in a caretaking position with my Mom and daughter and her children, for awhile now.  It has taken it's toll on me and I so needed reminded that God is in control and the He will strengthen me!
