Lamb & Bollinger Genealogy

I am working on unraveling the mysteries of the genealogy of my great grandmother Isabelle Catherine Bollinger Lamb, and my great grandfather, John William Lamb. The Lamb family came to Ohio from France, and may have been called Lemieux or Lameaux before the name was changed to Lamb. The Bollingers lived in various places in the south before Francis Martin Bollinger followed Caroline "Annie" Fisher home to Ohio.

Most of the information below is from research done by me, which I have pieced together from old documents and family interviews. I have also gotten some from other genealogists in the family and some I've met on the internet. I am still accumulating information and documentation. I think DNA may be needed to unlock the original spelling of the Lambs' surname.
