| Just a little about me, I am 22 and live in St. Catharines, Ontario, where i was born and raised. I have been drawing since I was 6 and been drawing portraits for friends and family since grade 3. I started selling my portraits professionally in 2005. I am not formally trained in art but am addicted to doodling and accredit my obsession with blank paper and a pen in hand to the stage I am at now. I was fortunate enough to grow up with a family who is incredibly supportive and have encouraged me to continue with art and I have met many amazingly talented artists who have come in and out of my life, teaching me along the way. I am going to be attending Brock for a degree in fine arts hopefully and am not sure exactly where that will lead me, I am working on a childrens book right now with one of my best friends who is an extremely talented writer, and have been working on publishing a comic strip about a depressed killer whale. I also am trying to push myself farther into music and have been interested in starting up a record label or if a miracle happened it would be awesome to get good enough to perform. I have a passion for travel and have been bouncing back and forth between here and BC for the last 4 years or so, which I find keeps the inspiration running strongly, and keeps me focused on my ultimate goal, which is to improve my artistic abilities as much as possible and to share them with others. Who wouldn't be satisfied living a life emerged in creativity? Many pictures on this site are outdated and range from 2000 to 2008, I am looking forward to updating my Portfolio. | purchasing a personal portrait as per request, below i am listing the current pricing for my portraits. i am looking to expand my portfolio so currently i am offering a discounted rate with exchange of your permission to place a copy of the original, and a copy of the portrait on my website!! i have also been asked if i can do a custom portrait of any bands or pet portraiture, a drawing of a band is absolutely no problem, pricing will still go by number of people in the composition. however because of my lack of experience with drawing animals i will take it on and price it based on the picture presented and i will not be able to gaurantee a timeframe. standard time frame for all other compositions is 2-3 weeks. pricing size standard price discounted price* 8X10 (1 person) $80 (additional persons add $20) $50 (additional persons add $10) 11X10 (1 person) $100 (additional persons add $20) $75 (additional persons add $10) 11X14 (min 2 ppl) $130 (additional persons add $25) $100 (additional persons add $15) if you wish a portrait drawn in pencil crayon it will be an additional $30 for every size i prefer a physical copy of the photo to draw, particularly not an original as it is sure to be damaged with 'pencil finger'** i will accept emailed photos, please email me at [email protected] if you would like a portrait and i will get back to you within 24 hours and provide you with all information including payment methods. *discounted price in agreeance to display finished work and option of original photo ** 'pencil finger' is the unfortunate silvery lead that seems to be permenantly on my fingers |
