Lost Someone to Suicide?
I am so sorry that you have had to experience the suicide of a loved one, my heart goes out to you.

Please don't feel like you have to go through this alone, unfortunately there are many people who know only too well your pain. Seek out support groups in your local area or search the web.

Be kind to yourself, allow yourself to cry when you need to, lean on the people around you. I know for a fact that without my friends and family I wouldn't still be here. But life does get slightly easier, it can never be the same because an important person is missing in your life, but the pain will gradually ease to a bearable level.

You may feel angry, guilty, worthless, abandoned, rejected, hurt, confused and many other emotions these are all perfectly understandable and normal. A suicide death creates many strong feelings in the people that are left behind. You need to give yourself time to work through these feelings.

Please feel free to email me or sign my visitors book if you ever want to share your story or just have someone listen to you and understand.
