No. No, no, no. It's not all luck! It's work and sacrifice and pain! My parents are not perfect. They fight. Sometimes they yell. Often they disagree. Differences in opinion lead to stubborn will and sometimes no one wants to compromise. So someone gives in. Or they come to an unwilling compromise. And then they forgive. Not to mention, they still love each other. This is not some dull fact that they have told me. It is an observation. I see them showing love to each other, in a touch, a few whispered words and a shared smile, in the way my mother calls my father when something is wrong to get advice or reassurance.
