Welcome here! I had put up the profiles of the main leads in the movie. The graphics were really impressive and the story plot was pretty interesting too. Though the way the story turned out was kinda sad *Sob Sob*, i think it's a great animation. Go catch it, it's worth watching! :)

THE CHARACTERS' PROFILE

Dr Sid:
The genius behind the wave theory (He believes that "The Spirits of Gaya" lies beneath the earth), Dr.Sid possessed a facile mind as well as a compassionate heart. As he guides his protege, Aki, towards a final solution, he imparts both scientific principals and fatherly advice. The Earth's fate depends on his innovative and unprecedented scientific vision.
The wise old man :)

General Hein:
Driven by a hero complex and a desire for vengeance, General Hein seeks a quick and violent end to the alien invasion. Hein, a military strategist, clearly shows skill, yet his ego overshadows his wisdom. Determined to avenge the death of his family at the hands of predators, General Hein will take whatever course necessary to destroy both the enemy and Aki's alternative strategies. However, his stubbornness and hatred may pose as a greater threat.
I think he is a confusing guy...for a moment he seems like a hero who wanted to revenge for his family, for another moment he seems like an obstinate scheming stupid fool who wants everything done in his way and of cos spoil everything. Ha! ;p

Aki Ross:
Already infected by the aliens, Aki must use her scientific intellect to find means to combat the alien predators. As she searches for an answer to the Earth's plight, Aki works simultaneously to reveal her enemies' purpose. Despite dwindling time for the Earth and herself, she remains true to her optimistic nature. Possessing unwavering determination, Aki battles to overcome earth-shattering obstacles in her efforts to save mankind.
Born in San Francisco in 2038. Orphaned at an early age when her parents were attacked by Phantoms, Aki was raised by an aunt in New York City. As only child, Aki grew up to be a strong and independent woman, finding pleasure in solitude and thought. Following the footsteps of her father, a highly respected scientist, Aki dedicated her life to understanding biotechnology. Often outspoken in her opinions and ideas, Aki became an expert in her field at an early age. She would travel between the barrier cities conducting experiments and lecturing to other scientists.
The female lead of the show, level-headed and smart. The fact that she was able to save the Captain's life in time when he was infected by the alien phantoms, was because she was able to keep her calm. You can tell they are a couple lahz..hee!

DEEP EYES SQUAD
Gray Edwards:
Born in Chicago in 2034, Gray Edwards was raised in a loving family. The eldest son of a civil engineer, Gray's father tried to keep his family safe and intact during the years before the barrier cities were developed. Forced to care for his family alongside his father at an early age, Gray showed strong signs of leadership. Prior to the construction of the Chicago Barrier City, Gray was active in the youth task force, providing protection and assistance to the remaining citizens of Chicago. In the draft of 2050, Gray was enlisted in the Los Angeles USMF. Praised for his quick-thinking and skilled athleticism, Gray quickly rose to the rank of Cadet leader. Showing great skill within the ranks of the Cadets, Gray was recruited into the Houston Military Academy (HMA) at the age of 17. Through the HMA curriculum, Gray received training in physical sciences and engineering along with humanities and the social sciences. After several successful training missions, Gray was given leadership over other missions and consecutive wasteland reconnaissance. During one of his training missions he met Aki Ross. Often assigned to similar missions, he as squadron leader and she as medical assistant, they began a relationship in complete secrecy. Two years into their relationship, Gray was assigned to the elite Deep Eyes Squadron and Aki returned to New York Barrier City to complete her education. As Aki pursued her research, Gray, along with Jane, Neil and Ryan, conducted search and rescue missions throughout the Barrier Cities and wastelands.Despite the distance, Aki and Gray continued their relationship. However, Phantom particles during a freak accident. In her attempt to save her life she isolates herself from everyone, including Gray. Unable to reach Aki and not knowing the reason why she left him, Gray is filled with pain and sorrow over the woman that he loves.
Really cool guy as all heros are. Wish the ending could have been otherwise though...

Neil Fleming:
The brain behind the Deep Eyes squadron, Neil applies mental and physical fortitude to challenge the alien predators. Possessing a sarcastic sense of humor that belies his intellectual pessimism. Neil is an integral and reliable component of the force. threat to the Earth than the aliens.
Hee... he is the clown of the squad.. funny guy but he is the brainy one. Haha...there's this part where he mentioned.. what's with Aki and the plant and the Noah's Ark thingie, that really tickle me!

Ryan Whittaker:
The Deep Eyes squadron's sergeant and second in command, Ryan displays a relentless dedication to his team and their cause. His selflessness and courage set an example for his fellow soldiers. Although at times irreverent, Ryan recognizes his duty to his superior and best friend, Gray Edwards. Ryan will seek victory until he, or his opposition is defeated.
The black of the group! Funny how certain stories always include a character like this, yeah? But i guess u can't do without them, supporting roles are the ones that make the leading roles shine! :)

Jane Proudfoot:
The slayer of all misogynistic stereotypes, Jane meshes good looks with even greater courage and athleticism. A proud soldier, she charges angrily into battle, regardless of the risk. Fueled by honor and a short fuse, Jane often butts heads with her sarcastic team member, Neil, though her direct nature ensures she wastes no time with either fellow solider or her opposition.
The Power Gal!! Stylo Mylo yeah! Kinda like Lara Croft in Tomb Raider... well not that busty lahz heee!
