| Name: Samantha Marie Xavier Age: 16 Powers: Highly powerful telepath like her father and her half-brother. After her first encounter with Magneto and his vile experiments of using a mixture of Mystique's x-gene blood and that of a wolf's blood, she also can transform into a white wolf at will. Samantha is the daughter of Charles' former love Amelia Voght. Charles and Amelia have fought for years over who was better at raising Sam, whose powers were quickly becoming a handful for her. Finnally Charles won out but had the hard part of telling Sam who he really was in relation to her. Sam was not accepted very well when she first came to the institute. Scott had overheard Charles talk about Sam being his daughter, and was jealous from the begining, creating a rivalry between them. Most of the other students were jealous of her too, since she got her own room, and was really outcasted when they learned of her relation to the Professor. The only friend she had through this whole period was Kurt, who she never once flinched at his appearance and they've been the closest friends since. Kitty was the first to break the cycle and got to know her, showing the others that they were very wrong in prejudging her like that. When Lucas came into the picture she had someone who felt the same way about her dad, but she hadalready learned that anger solved nothing and helped him become the sensible big brother he is now. Another close relationship came about in an odd way. Ever since she arrived at the institute, Sam could feel the troubles felt by Logan, and would wake up often to his nightmarish dreams. She is often soothing to him and he enjoys her company, even though he might not always show it on the outside. |
