This cartoon was requested by a chatter in the GBS OKP (great big sea, online kitchen party, message board thingie)... This is Sean's take on the Wolf Trap. The Wolf Trap is an arts or music center thing in Virginia and it's called wolf trap because records as early as 1632 indicate that wolves had caused much damage to the lands. The General Assembly, in trying to deal with the worlf menace, offered rewards of tobacco for those who consturcted pits or traps to capture and deliver wolf heads tot hte General Assembly. A smaller reward was given to thouse who used a gun or some other means to kill the wolves. When GBS played there they too pondered the reasons for it being called the Wolf Trap. Sean noted that he'd seen a plaque somewhere that he would later go and read and report his findings. For more info on the Wolf Trap you can click here. To see the review from the WolfTrap show click here. I don't remember who owns the site with this particular review on it, otherwise I'd give them the proper credit, whoever it is, thanks!! So now that you know all of that...here it is, pardon the crappy scanner job, I'm not sure why it came out more smudged than the others, the original looks much better.
