It finally came, the big night! Not a mile did we drive or a dollar did we spend, But my brother Jon and I were filled with anticipation for the guy's big debut in Lego Land. We'd spent hours constructing the perfect stage for the big show, with several dangerous mishaps and roof cave ins we were worried It whouldn't be ready on time. However we were able to get things up and running with ease.

: : The time finally came, and the guys pulled up in their multicolored bus with stage crew close behind in their cart. The place was packed, every seat filled and every little notch occupied by feet. Everyone showed up, The King came, as well as his ninja guards and the royal knights. A group of arctic explorers attended the show as well. The cops where there just to be sure things would keep order. The real life of the party were the cowboys and Indians who'd brought their horses and everything!

: : They guys were dressed quite smartly that night, : :

: : From Left to right, : : Alan, clad in the garments of Qui Gon Gin from Star Wars Episode I (with the head of an outlaw) And his hair was very red that night... : : Sean choose the traditional Ninja dress. Even his face reflected the look of a ninja...very fashionable if you ask me! : : Bob was dressed boldly in his adventure pilot outfit (he got the head of Qui Gon Gin, since it had a beardy thing) : : And Darrell was looking very cool in his shades and cowboy outfit! : : And they guys took the stage! They started off with Can't Stop Fallin' and proceeded to play every track in order on Turn! Jon and I were the privledged two who got any song we requested, and Jon wanted to hear Consequence Free again, Alan was happy to oblidge, in fact, he oblidged 5 or more times to Jon's request!! We sang and Danced our hearts out and to this day, Con Free is still Jon's favorite song! There were a few technical difficulties during Ferryland Sealer, when Bob was getting into it a bit too much and jumped his mic right off the stage and parts of the roof began to fall in. With the help of the stage crew, we were able to fix the roof and continue with the show. Alan was so taken with my skill at roof repair, he asked me to marry him on the spot. Sean promptly reminded him that they were in the middle of the show, so Alan simply said "We'll talk later" ... : : On went the show with Goin' Up, and continued in the order of the UP album, and again appeased Jon with Run Runaway several times over and over! After that, they played the songs from Rant and Roar as well! During one of those songs in that set, Darrell had to deploy their secret weapon...a Robot that travels with them in secret, disguised as a giant statue, the robot was able to control the rowdy group of ninjas in the front row and end a ninja-cowboy brawl. We all applauded Darrell for saving the day so gallantly! : : After the concert, Jon and I were permitted some one on one chat with the guys after everyone had gone. Again Alan asked me to marry him, but Sean and Darrell kinda helped him to get over his infatuation with me, even though I was all for marrying him, I had no problem with it at all! Too bad though, He was lookin' really good in all that burlap lookin material. We did get a picture of the stage after everyone had gone... : :
: : And we got a picture of the "janitors" or stage guys in their cart... : :
: : And it was such a great night! We could not have been happier. Shortly after though, they guys aided in the demolition of the stage, seeing as since they were going away, things would have to be built anew when they return someday. But that was the guys' debut in Lego Land...And boy was It a great night, too bad none of you were there!

: : : : ***Note, This was a night with my 8 year old brother Jon, He's my little gbs lovin' buddy and we had a grand old time with the legos! We're always singin and dancin around this place to GBS when no one's around to watch, and now that I have Road Rage, the next Lego Land concert is sure to be even more like the real thing.

: : I reposted this story/review, because I didn't have to make it up, it really happened! And it was more or less, just us creating our own show (Jon came to the first show I went to at Hartwood Acres over the summer, he had a good time too!), It was fun though. So I thought I'd share it all over again!
