A Glimpse of Heaven
Wandering through Dogwood Canyon, a breathtaking scene.
Springfed brooks tumbling, so serene.
I hear a young boy give an enthusiastic shout,
As he spies the feeding frenzy of the rainbow trout.
I survey and absorb the pale blue sky,
And watch an eagle soaring gracefully by.
Water falls down the lush mountainside.
I view Gods land with inspiring pride.

The mist of the falls fills the fresh air.
I watch the day pass without having one care.
Cascading water after a rain,
Over a bluff and across a lane.
The deer and the elk scatter the land.
A newborn bison struggles to stand.
Wild flowers sprinkle across a mossy spring's bank.
For all of these things dear God I give thanks.
God's Paintbrush!!!Such a beautiful scheme.
More glorious than I could ever begin to dream.
To praise God I raise my hands and my eyes,
For today he gave me a glimpse of heaven's Paradise!
