Snow days.  You know, I never thought I'd complain about a 5 day weekend, but I'm bored!!  I had a conference to go to Wednesday, so I didn' t have school.  They cancelled school Thursday and then we got over a foot of snow Friday,  so no school today.  I'm just stir crazy.  I think it's partially cause I live by myself and I don't do a very good job of entertaining myself.



Today I shoveled snow for a couple hours though.  That was a good workout, considering my shovel was a broom.  Ha, I probably looked like a dork.



I just hope the teachers warehouse is open tomorrow.  Free school supplies, definitely can't miss that opportunity.  After I got my car out it wasn't too bad, either.



Well, I'm just bored.



Oh, I guess I am doing something (or pretending to) productive.  I'm apparently supposed to be writing curriculum.  Ha!  That's a laugh.  I'm a first year teacher, not even technically qualified, and they say I have to write curriculum.  Here's the kicker, I wasn't given any curriculum in the first place.  Just a binder, with a bunch of blank pages that I have to fill up by May.  Great.  The joys of working at Chilhowee.  I'll try, but I'm not promising anything.  So, I'm looking at North Calloways curriculum.  It's copyrighted, but I'm printing it off because I at least need a basis of what to go from.  The formatting, the way it's supposed to be put together, all that great stuff.  And it's all there.  So, I guess tomorrow I'll browse through there, see what I can find.  Damn people making me do ridiculous amounts of stuff BY MYSELF.  I mean, really.  I don't even know how to make chilli, how would I know how to write curriculum?
