So I've officially started at Hermann High. It's amazing, after one day I can already say it's nothing like Chilhowee. We were each given a free copy of Wong's The First Days of School, which is extremely helpful (if only I hadn't bought it last year). And I got a copy of my schedule, on Blue days I'll have 2 different classes, comp 1 and sports lit (twice). On white days I'll have creative writing, 10th honors, and comp 1 again. How friggin sweet?!

Right now I'm enjoying getting used to having pets again. Last night Ophelia and Antigone hid under the couch all night, but Antigone is way too nosy to stay hidden for too long. Ophelia, however, is still a bit leery. Any loud noise and she's off! Haha, anyway, they're funny.

Well, I really need to get to bed, gotta get up early again tomorrow (not really, but I have a feeling the road crew will be beating random crap outside my window at 6 o'clock sharp again tomorrow). And tomorrow I'm actually planning on making my classroom a little bit more my own. I think we get curriculum tomorrow, so that's good, too.
