This is a heart-breaking mother's story of her daughter's encounter with one distribution company. While this is an extreme case, managers seem to disregard the safety of these young salespeople and instruct them to drive long distances in order to squeeze more sales out of them. In this case, the fatigue brought on by the trip caused an accident which took the life of one young woman. The names have been changed.

David, I have seen and read so much information on this company and it really
makes me sick to my stomach. My daughter worked for one of these alias
companies and it cost her her life. She was only 19 years old. She worked
for them only 3 weeks and was completely brain-washed. The group she was with
were on the way back from a 3 day "FUN CAR TRIP" when the 17 year old driver
fell asleep and my daughter was the one that was killed. They were all so
exhausted and had to be back at the office by 9am the next morning. They had
worked all through the night selling and all the passengers were sound asleep
and the driver then fell asleep. It does not seem right that we live in
country where people or companies can use young people without any thoughts on
their safety or future and get away with it. I also wish there would be some
way that all of the people/kids could get together and get this company
stopped before this happens to someone else. Sometimes I don't think I will
every get over this tragedy. She was a very kind hearted person and would
help anyone. She was the most precious daughter you could have. She had a
kind heart and would do anything for her friends and family. If there is
anyting I can do to help please let me know. A grieving mom!
