Saved by Grissom's page, Warrick hurried from the locker room escaping Nick and Catherine's questions.

Running numbers was when it all started, seeing the money that could be made from a well placed bet. He never considered the down side back then, the losing side, the addiction. The next bet could be the last one, the big one, Easy Street, then he could stop gambling.

Even with a job he loved, that thrill still called to him, everyday he fought against it. Everyday that he didn't place a bet was a good day, a battle won in the unceasing war.
