I first heard GC on the internet a couple of years ago, I loved them. I downloaded all the tracks that I could. I looked everywhere for a CD, but I couldn't find one anywhere, until February 2003. I bought The Young And The Hopeless album, and at the same time persuaded my little brother to buy the Lifestyles of The Rich & Famous single. I listened to the CD so much, all my other CDs got dusty! I was still looking in shops for their self-titled album, I think I finally got in April 2003. I have most of the unreleased tracks saved on my computer too and I bought both versions of Chronicles the day it was released. It's really difficult to decide which tracks to listen to! I've loved GC since the first time I heard them, and when I went on the website and found out more about the guys themselves, I loved them even more. I still love them as much as I did on that first day. Here's why:
Their music has meaningful lyrics, that people can easily relate to. They're not afraid to be themselves and share their past with the world. Their music saves people's lives and helps kids like me to get through the day. They deserve everything they have because they've worked so hard for everything, and don't take it all for granted. They're funny, genuine and down to earth people. They respect their fans and will always represent us. In return we will always represent them, and support them, whatever they choose to do. Good Charlotte are more than just a band...they're a family, and all the fans are the most important part of that family. GC helps all us loser kids to be strong and stick up for each other, because that's what families do.

People are always mean to me,
Just because I love GC.
I tell them to leave me alone,
But all they ever do is moan.
They will never understand,
Good Charlotte is more than just a band,
They keep their fans holding on,
Even when all hope has gone.
The GC love will never end,
Because the true fans will always represent,
And us fans will never rest,
Until we prove GC are the best!
