Martin Kaszkiel
Brief bio
During my undergraduate, honours and postgraduate studies, I was a member of the Multimedia Database Systems (MDS) group at RMIT University, Australia. At MDS, I was working on the MG retrieval engine.
In 1999, I completed my PhD in Computer Science from the RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. After submitting my thesis, I joined AT&T Labs-Research where I was a member of the Machine Learning and Information Retrieval research group.
I worked on the Web crawling and text retrieval techniques that are used in
question and answering systems.
