Background: Alexandra comes from a rural town just outside of St. Petersburg. Her family are farmers, raising grain and other crops on their homestead.

Her great, great grandfather was a non-commissioned officer in Starfleet. During shore leave on Rygelius II, he met an exotic dancer in a bar and fell in love. He returned several times to the popular shore leave destination and eventually convinced the young woman to marry him and return to St. Petersburg with him.

Alexandra is the second child of four children, two boys, two girls. Her oldest brother joined Starfleet as a commissioned officer and was assimilated by the Borg at Wolf 359 on his first tour of duty. Starfleet declared all personnel assimilated dead, rather than list them as missing in action, since the unique personality that was the person did die.

Her younger siblings are both still at home. Arkady, 17, has expressed interest in becoming a terra-former, combining his love of agriculture with his desire to explore. Katerina is 12 and still thinks that the world revolves around games and boys.

Personality Profile: Alexandra is an observer. She watches and remembers everything. She is calm in times of crises, and deliberate in her actions. Like most Starfleet Intelligence officers, she is a lone wolf, preferring to take assignments that send her off alone or in two-three person groups, rather than large team assignments. She tends to be a bit vain about her appearance and is intrigued by stories she heard as a child about Rygelius II, considered an extremely hedonistic society.

Background: Kale is the only child of a merchant family on the Trill Homeworld. He grew up working in his parents� antiquities market, but had little desire to do so more than he had too, finding it boring. He did learn to listen and remember faces, names and facts associated with them, and to listen carefully.
He was only slightly above average in school, but managed to pass the Starfleet Entrance Exam on the first try. He was not the most academically suited candidate, but his diplomatic and other skills were excellent. He had to receive extra tutoring in the maths and sciences to successfully complete his coursework. Academy instructors encouraged him to follow a diplomatic career path, but like working in the family store, he found that to be dull.
Unsure of what path to choose when he graduated the Academy, he finally decided to pick the one that sounded the most exciting at the time�Intelligence work. His friends counseled him against it, but he refused to change his mind.

Personality Profile: Kale is outgoing and friendly, but quick to jump to action. His saving grace in that regard is that he usually makes the right choice about what action to take. He has a keen sense of humor and enjoys life to its fullest. He loathes tasks that he finds dull (filing reports, briefings, research, etc.) and does them grudgingly.

Background: Jessica comes from a typical family environment. She is the younger of two children and the first in her family to enter Starfleet. Her parents are proud of their daughter and what she has achieved, but her older brother would like her to come home as he misses her company.

As she entered he teenage years she felt the call to the stars, and believed the recruiting posters. She has risen through the ranks due to her willingness to work and has shown that she will follow orders to the letter.

She learned a number of languages before she joined the Academy and continues to further her studies into them as she incorporates them into her Algorithmic puzzles.

Personality Profile: Jessica is a hard worker that follows orders to the letter. She shows personal initiative when appropriate, and does not seem overly concerned with advancing in rank. She is happy with the status quo, and is on a search for job satisfaction.

Physical Description: Jessica has slight longer than shoulder length strawberry blond hair. Her constant physical work keeps her in trim condition.

Background: A mere child for a Vulcan, Loren is the black sheep of his family. He has failed to attain the Kohlinar twice, despite his best meditative efforts. The priestess told him he lacked focus and purpose in his life and rushed into the Kohlinar.

In order to find a purpose, he left Vulcan for Starfleet Academy. His family considered it a less than logical choice. They felt studies on Vulcan would be more successful than instruction with such illogical races as humans and Betazoids.

It took Loren nearly two years to find a course of study that he felt he was adept at. His logical Vulcan mind helped him excel at most of his studies, though the concepts in his required psychology courses were difficult to grasp since often they focused on emotional issues. His real skill was strategic operations. He was quite good at seeing the big picture and galactic political issues. One instructor told him he had a devious mind during some practical exercises. Loren was obviously offended, thinking that his behavior was quite logical.

His logic is not always correct though. At times he tends to be a bit �cold� in his judgments. Often, he was criticized for his willingness to sacrifice the few for the many.

The Revenant is his third posting since graduating the Academy.

Personality Profile: At first appearance, Loren would seem to be a typical Vulcan. However, further investigation reveals that he still has a long way to go on his meditative efforts. On occasion, he appears to be angry or irritated.

Physical description: Loren has a tall, thin build, but is incredibly strong, like most Vulcans. He keeps his blonde hair long.
