Background: At an early age, it was obvious that little Haley was a thrill junkie. Initially, she decided to focus on a Medical career in Starfleet. Three attempts at academy admission only reduced her zeal a fraction. With the likelihood of being an officer virtually nil, she attended college on her home world and subsequently enlisted in Starfleet, becoming an Emergency Medical Technician. The USS Fury is her first assignment. Her goal now is to be assigned to the Intelligence Team as medic.

Personality Profile: Haley is a chatterbox with endless energy. She is personable and very social. She likes to organize parties. She has a harmless but annoying idol fixation on Lt. Kassidy O�Shea. She is never without a smile and is fearless (or reckless) in the face of battle.

Background: Chuck was born on a towing barge in a far sector of the Federation. He enlisted in Starfleet during a moment of patriotic zeal just after the beginning of the Dominion War. He worked in a Federation Medical facility near the Neutral Zone, counting the days before he could leave the service. During a drunken binge, he foolishly re-upped for another three-year stint.

Personality Profile: Chuck is a friendly sort, full of wisecracks. He has a violent temper, which he will unleash should any enlisted member of the crew refer to him as a �nurse.� He has failed the Starfleet illicit substance policy on three occasions, for three different substances. He feels rather at home on the Fury, deciding it as good a place as any to make the best of a bad situation. Plus, he has noted, the Fury�s crew enjoys a good party. He can be found in the lounge during his non-duty hours, nursing a pint of ale.

Appearance: Crew cut, overweight, messy uniform, wears antique eye-glasses because of a degenerative eye disorder, he cannot have transplant due to a severe allergy to one of the medicines used in the procedure.

Background: Kari was born in a mountain town and spent her life being close to nature. Her parents, Callie and Michael Cox, are both doctors. She has two sisters and three brothers, so chaos is not an unusual situation for her. Her parents encouraged her to explore and investigate all her options in life and not blindly follow in their footsteps, but Kari was drawn to medicine nonetheless. She, however, was drawn to the more nurturing aspect of nursing.

She entered Starfleet Academy at 16 and performed exceptionally well in the science area, but showed little aptitude for the military aspects of the education. She required a lot of assistance and extra practice to pass weapons and other military training. She nearly did not graduate because she became so ill on the required space walk that she had to stop twice and return to the ship. Her instructor jokingly asked if she was part Klingon, she had so much difficulty. Finally, after a double-dose of an anti-nausea medication, she was able to meet the minimum requirements for the space walk.

From Starfleet Academy, Kari attended the Jonas Salk School of Medicine and majored in nursing. Upon her graduation, she immediately took a ship-based assignment and rose quickly through the ranks because of her ability to create order out of chaos. She received several commendations during the war for her field medical service. The chaos of a battlefield did not bother her as it did other field nurses.

Personality Profile: Kari is an energetic and outgoing person. She does extremely well in busy situations. She can organize nearly anything. She enjoys being in crowds and is never out of place in a group. She blends in very well. She is also very much a caretaker and thoroughly enjoys being the mother hen of sick bay.

Background: Gaby has been in Starfleet for eight years, entering the ranks as a crewman and quickly working her way through the ranks of non-commissioned officers until she was promoted to Warrant Officer during the Dominion War. She comes from a working class family on Betazed but has overcome her humble beginnings with a successful career. She is a highly adaptable surgery nurse and uses her Betazoid telepathy only in the surgery room.

Personality Profile: Gaby is a friendly, out-going and instinctively curious woman. She could be summed up with the statement of 'works hard, plays hard.' She has an active social life but her relationships with men rarely last more than a few months. Her telepathic abilities are average for a Betazoid.

Appearance: Gaby is an attractive woman of medium height with a fit figure. She has brown hair and dark brown eyes.
