| The basics There are three basic elements of every serve: checking the rim of the goblet or plate for flaws serving from a nadu position kissing below the rim of the goblet or plate Adding to your Serve ask your sisters to help aid you with more detailed descriptions describe your hair, eyes, nose, movements, color of your skin, lips and actions Note: There are many things you can do to make your serve enticing. Whether cooking, cleaning, furring or serving, a slave represents Kassar South and their Ubar and Owners. Bring honor to the steel about ones neck and show Gor that the Kassar South has the best of slaves for a Master's every wish. Your posts First, keep your posts to three to five lines. Anything longer than than makes it difficult to read your posts. It's easy for the eye to get lost and you want the one you are serving to be able to follow everything you do. Also, it's a bit overwhelming to find your screen suddenly filled with one post. Many people will not bother to read it all, others will just scan it quickly. However, a three to five line post is likely to be read carefully. Next. keep your posts to somewhere between five and 10. Most Frees are not going to like having to wait for an hour between the time they ask for a drink and the time they actually get their drink. While you want your post to be sensuous, you also want to actually get the food or drink to the Free so that, hopefully, you can move on to more salacious activities. As you get to know the camp and its members better, you'll become familiar with the individual preferences of the Frees. Some like quick serves (the Ubar is among those who hates to have to wait very long to actually receive his drink), others prefer long drawn-out serves. It is helpful if you can keep a pad of paper or index cards by your computer to write down a Free's preferences. Know your surroundings For Kassar, there is a camp map that shows the location of the servery, individual Free's wagons, etc. It is a good idea to study this map. It's nice to know if you have to enter a compound to bring the Free his/her drink. Check to see if your room has such a map. It's also nice to post some details of getting to the servery. Here's an example: *a girl weaves in and out among the furs as she saunters across the camp, the light of the fire reflecting off her silken skin as she moves past the \ branding rack toward the servery* The other thing to know is the layout of the servery. Ask a senior kajira in your camp about the servery layout. In Kassar, the servery is like this: All drinking vessels (goblets, paga bowls, horns, etc.) are kept on the top shelf by order of the Ubar, he likes to watch the girls stretch Plates, bowls, etc. are kept on the second shelf, just below the goblets, and unless you're tall, you'll probably need to stretch somewhat to reach this shelf too. There is a cupboard on the left wall of the servery that dry goods, such as flour, sugars, etc., are kept in. The cupboard on the right wall is where the breads, pastries, etc., are kept. Large serving containers, such as trays, etc., are kept on the lower shelves Utensils are kept in a drawer just under the counter that runs along the north wall and separates the top and bottom shelves. The cooling pit 6 feet deep, four feet on a side. Food and wine is placed into sacks and lowered into the pit by ropes. There is a layer of rocks six inches deep at the bottom, to help preserve cold. The upper rim is constructed of wood, as is the lid. The lid is hinged, and opens toward the North. When open, the lid is flush with the south wall of the servery. A stick is provided to prop the lid open. The lid's handle is made of Bosk leather, fastened to the center of the lid. The lid bears a burned imprint of the tri-bola emblem of the Kassars. There is also a net in the river for longer-term storage of foods and drink that need to be kept cold. Use the rope by the shore to drag the net to the shore and retrieve what you need. There also is a raft with several kegs of ale out on the stream. Again, use the rope by the shore to pull it in so you can get the raft. Botas (yes, botas) of paga are kept hanging over the campfire in the center of the camp -- there is a long pole strung across the coals and the botas are hung on the pole. There is a cooking stone above the coals at the campfire, along with a warming stone. You'll usually find pots of blackwyne and bazi tea already brewed and warming there. Before you head to the servery As soon as you are asked to serve, acknowledge the serve and then ask any questions you need in order to complete your serve. As you become more familiar with the Frees, in camp, it is nice to remember what they usually order (jot it down on your pad of paper), but never assume that's what they want. Always double check. For instance, the Ubar almost always wants chilled ta-wyne, so if he asks for a drink, you might say: kalana, Master? Try to do a mental checklist of everything you need to know before you head to the servery so you do not have to shout across camp to ask the Free. Below are some things you may need to ask: kalana -- red or white, warm or chilled (usually white is served chilled, red is served warmed, but if you don't know the Free, ask their preference. ta-wyne -- usually served chilled. paga -- ask if they want it warm or cold blackwyne -- red or yellow sugars? bosk milk (dried or fresh)? (Note: if the Free orders the blackwyne second slave, that means serve it black) bazi tea -- ask if they wish the traditional serve (red sugar in the first cup, yellow in the second, both in the third) -- some, however, prefer one cup, sweetened or not, with bosk milk or not -- so ask and make sure you know what they want any of the meats (bosk, tabuk, etc.) -- ask if you may use a quiva to slice it several of the fruits (such as larma, topsit, etc.) -- ask if you may use a quiva to slice it any of the breads -- ask if you may use a quiva to slice it In the servery All the Free has to go on is your description. Get to know the drinks and foods so you can describe them. For example, white kalana is a pale yellow gold color, a larma's juices will run out when you cut it, etc. Be descriptive in all you're doing. Second, use the right container for whatever you are serving. Kalana is served in a footed goblet, much like an urth wine glass -- the glasses come in an array of colors and most have something painted or etched in the side or they are emblazoned with jewels --describe it for the Free paga is traditionally served in a three-footed bowl -- again the colors vary as does the design on the side blackwyne is usually served in a mug -- if they want sugar, milk, etc., put it all on a tray along with a small pot of the blackwyne and prepare it at the Free's feet -- if they want it black, you can just fill the mug and carry that over bazi tea -- you'll need a tray to put the three small cups on, along with any sugars/milk they want and add a small pot of the tea, prepare it at the Free's feet food and drink -- be practical, you'll need a tray to carry it all -- don't forget to add eating utensils such as bone spoons, etc. and a rep-cloth napkin -- a nice touch is to add a flower and vase to the tray? The serve OK, while the point of the serve may seem to be to get the food or drink to the Free, let's face it, they're not really going to eat or drink what you bring. The real point is to be sensual. A good hot serve is likely to get you a trip to the Free's wagon. You've been asked to serve, you've acknowledged the request and you've asked everything you need to know to do a good serve. You've made your way across the camp, describing as you go. Next, you prepare whatever is requested. Always check the rim of the goblet, bowl, plate, etc. Make sure it is perfectly smooth. Now, you could run your finger around the rim, but that isn't very sensuous. Remember, what you are trying to do is entice the Free, so use a senstive body part to check the rim, such as your nipple, your fadu, even your lower lip can be sensuous. Next, make sure the goblet, etc., is clean. Some will polish it with a tress of their hair, others will polish it with their clothing. However you do it, try to make it enticing. Once you've got everything ready, carry it to the Free. All things should be carried above your head -- this stretches out your body, lifts your breasts, lets them bounce, etc. Describe your body as you walk across the camp, the sway of your hips, the jiggle of your breasts, the way your chatka rides up the crack in your ass, your hair bouncing off your back, etc. This is your moment to shine, take advantage of it. After you get to the Free, you are to kneel in nadu (or tower if it is a Mistress you are serving). Do not just type "kneels" or any variation of that. Describe the kneel fully. If you are not serving a Mistress, you might want to pull your chatka to the side to expose your fadu, and only if ASKED to by the Free. Remember though, you may only do this with camp members. Most girls will run the rim of a goblet or bowl through the folds of their sex to coat it with their honey. You can always do this with a Master; if you're serving a Mistresss, play it by ear as to whether She or you are comfortable doing this. But whether you do or don't, make your posts sensual. Next, kiss below the rim of the goblet/plate, etc. This kiss is to show your servitude and it's nice to describe it that way. It's also nice to actually turn your kiss to face the free before offering the drink/plate, etc. Finally, hold whatever it is you're offering up to the Free. Depending on how well you know the Free, you might "accidentally" brush against their legs with your breasts, etc., but don't do this unless you know it's welcomed. Some will post something nice and subvervient, like *a girl hopes Master enjoys the kalana and that her serve was worthy* Problems Ok, you're midway through the serve and suddenly the Free posts that they're taking the wine, paga, whatever. What do you do? Act as though you actually completed the serve (unless it's someone you know very well, in which case you can make a joke of it) and post something along the lines that you hope they enjoy it. You've offered the drink but the Free doesn't take it. What do you do? Post something like *remaining motionless, holding the drink in offering* If you still don't get an answer and think perhaps the Free has been booted, explain to a camp Free what you think has happened and ask if you may leave the drink/food at the furs in case the Free returns. If it's obvious the Free is in the room and just ignoring you, your only recourse is to periodically post things about holding the drink up in offering until the Free takes it. You completed your serve, the Free takes the drink, but doesn't release you. What do you do? First, wait a couple of minutes to see if the Free remembers to. If the Free doesn't, then post something like: *may a girl be of further service or should she return to the furs, Master?* |
