Kassar South Designations
We know that different people can spend different amounts of time in camp. We appreciate whatever amount of time people can spend in camp. We have tried to arrange responsibilities based on the amount of time the Frees can be in camp. There is no "promotion" from one title to another. However, if you find you are spending more time in camp, please talk to the Ubar about changing your title. And those who find they can not spend as much time in camp as they used to will have their title changed to fit the amount of time they can come.
Kassar South Freeman
This means you are only occasionally in camp (less than once a week). You may not fur the slaves until you have passed Orientation and the camp test. You also may not own slaves nor FC. When you can come to camp, you should greet non-camp members as they enter and guard the back of any Free who is branding a slave. At this stage, it is highly recommended that you not travel out of Kassar. This is a stage where you have the advantage to learn all about Kassar, you can't do that by visiting other rooms.
Kassar South Rider/Guard
This means you come to camp at least once a week. Once you have completed Orientation and passed the camp test, you may fur the slaves but may not own them nor may you FC. You should spend your time studying the camp's website in great detail. Learn how Masters should treat slaves. A significant lesson is that slaves are not "precious princesses" that should be pampered, nor are they "girlfriends." By the same token, slaves are not to be abused or mistreated. You should take this time to learn how to be a Master. Practice with the slaves in camp, study the website, talk to the other Members who have been in camp longer then yourself. This also is the time to learn about honor. Everyone seems to have their own definition of honor. It seems to be like pornography, everyone knows when they see it but they can't quite define it. Now is the time for you to discuss what is and what isn't honorable with other members of the camp.
Greet non-camp members as they enter camp. If there is no camp guard in camp, invite Free visitors to sit by the designated fire and try to find a slave to get them a drink.
You should guard the back of any Free who is branding a slave. This gives you the opportunity to observe and learn the branding procedures. After you have watched a few brandings, see if you can help. PM the Free involved and offer to assist. He may have you prepare the branding iron or other things to let you practice. You should prepare a biography of your character. It does not need to be long, but it should explain who you are and how you came to be in the Kassar camp. When it is completed, send it to the camp's email so it can be posted on the website. Preparing the bio will give you an opportunity to learn more about Gor and to flesh out your character. You should decide what your trade is (i.e., blacksmith, hunter, builder, etc.) and perfect your craft so that you can be busy in camp. Discuss what is needed in the camp with other members and choose your profession based on what will add to the camp. Once you've decided, submit an outline of how you will use your profession in camp.

Kassar South Freewoman
This means that you can come to camp less than two days a week. You may not use the slaves, not own slaves or FC. You should wear the tag "Kassar Free Woman" beneath your name, and make certain if you use an av it does not present you in a "sexual" way. You will receive a monthly stipend of 2 gold a month. This is a learning stage. You should spend your time studying the camp's website in great detail. You should learn how to treat slaves. A significant lesson is that slaves are not "precious princesses" that should be pampered. By the same token, slaves are not to be abused or mistreated. You should take this time to learn how to be a good Mistress. Practice with the slaves in camp, study the website, talk to the other Members who have been in camp longer then yourself. Be careful what you do in public. Anything that implies sexuality could lead to you being collared. If you want to use a slave, take her/him to your wagon. Even in your wagon you are not completely safe. Do not take on the "slave" role, even in your wagon. Anything that indicates a desire to become a slave can lead to you being collared. In general, slaves are not to speak about what goes on in a wagon, but they can accidentally drop a post that could be your undoing. This also is the time to learn how Free Women are expected to act in camp. You should keep a low profile at first and watch the other FWs in camp. You are a Free Woman only because the Men in camp allow it. Annoy them, argue with them, talk back or engage in activities that are masculine in nature, and you likely will find yourself in a collar. In addition, any Free Woman caught furring a Free Man who is not her FC, can be collared by anyone in camp. Fur at your own risk. Remember, the one you are furring with can save the posts and produce them later, and would be justified in collaring you. If you accidentally drop a post in public, you could be collared. As a Free Woman, you will receive a small monthly stipend. It is up to you to find other work to supplement that. At this stage, it is highly recommended that you not travel out of Kassar. This is a stage where you have the advantage to learn all about Kassar, you can't do that by visiting other rooms. Responsibilities: Greet non-camp members as they enter camp. If there is no camp guard in camp, invite Free visitors to sit by the designated fire and try to find a slave to get them a drink. If there are no slaves in camp or if all are busy, offer to serve if necessary.
