| All paid positions and salaries are determined by the Ubar, IF all the listed duties are performed. There is a fine of 1 gold per month to anyone who has a paid position and does not complete ALL the duties listed. If you have one of these positions and are not listed here, please send an email to let us know. General Positions Guard Commander OPEN � Responsible for Ubars safety � Responsible for the Guards who ensure Ubars safety � Responsible for Guards who ensure security of camp � Assists the Plains Enforcer should he need it Head of supplies Lady Victoria � Gather all the supply lists others keep � Check camp and add any other necessary supplies � Make a weekly trip to a city to purchase supplies � Distribute supplies upon return to camp � Submit a weekly report on activities Weaponsmith Kull � Make and maintain a supply of Kassar weapons � Repair broken weapons � Maintain a list of needed supplies � Use skills as needed to build other things needed by camp(i.e. cages) � Submit a weekly report on activities � May earn extra money by undertaking special commissions Armory Care Taker Tarthis � Maintain and clean all weapons � Repair broken weapons � Maintain a list of weapons needed Head Healer Mechelena � Treat all injuries and illnesses � Sumit weekly list of needed medical supplies � Train others in emergency medical treatment Healer OPEN � Treat all injuries and illnesses � Train others in emergency medical treatment Assistant Healer OPEN � Treat all injuries and illnesses � Train others in emergency medical treatment Animal caretaker Open � Maintain the health of the animals � Groom the animals � Feed animals daily � Clean animal pens � Submit reports on the activity board Artisian Xiane � Responsible for sculpted and painted works within the camp � Accept commissions as required � Submit reports on the activity board Scribe Amaranth � Submit a weekly report noting all major events, new rules, people banned from camp, etc. Head cook Jasmania Assistant cook Kamryn � Prepare weekly menu column for Kronicles (based on what the camp hunter has brought to camp and what supplies camp has) � Oversee whichever team is preparing meals � Solicit slaves or FWs (regardless of assigned chore) to help prepare meals � Submit weekly list of needed supplies Head seamstress OPEN � Oversee all sewing in camp (based on camp supplies) � Post on message board when specific pieces of clothing need to be made (such as winter leathers for slaves) � Maintain a list of needed sewing supplies � Submit a weekly report of sewing activities Head herder OPEN � Organize daily patrols to protect the bosk and submit log � Maintain the health of the bosk � Make certain the bosk have enough grass to graze on � Organize weekly patrols to hunt animals that might harm the bosk and submit log � Keep count of the bosk and report to the Ubar � Attend the birthing of baby bosks � Protect baby bosks in the herd � Submit weekly report on activities and state of the bosk Painter OPEN � Must maintain at least 2 songs a month written and submitted to the Ubar � Oversee and organize all painting/scultping in camp Camp Singer Ambrose � Create songs based on Gor for camp and special events � Send songs to the Kassar South email to be placed on the website Head maintenance Axeman � Conduct inspection of all Kassar property to ensure it is not in need of repair � Perform all needed repairs in camp � Maintain a list of needed supplies � Submit a weekly report on activities Game hunter Jaru � Supply to camp with all its meat requirements (amount comparable to at least 2 tabuk or 4 tarsks weekly) � Submit a weekly report on activities Note: Supply of game must result from legitimate kills on the plains. Fuel gatherer OPEN � Gather and chop wood if available � Oversee gathering of dung for fires � Oversee drying of dung � Responsible for making sure fire burns at all times � Submit a weekly report on activities Commander of One/Ubar Guard Corbin � Guard the Ubar Commanders Head Guard OPEN � Coordinate the movement of Guards � Plan and conduct training to develop battle plans Patrol Enforcer OPEN � Supervises patrols � Submits log of patrols � Insures injuries are accepted � Submits daily report to healer on injuries Accounts Payroll Master OPEN � Keep a weekly tally of Frees who complete the requirements of their positions � Check the Kassar South Times and other means of reporting required of paid positions and see that they have been done � Submit a monthly payroll on the first day of each month, covering who should be paid for the previous month, prorating pay when duties have not been completed for the entire month |
