Curulean: the most prestigious slave auction house in the city of Ar. Ko-ro-ba: an ancient poet referred to Ko-ro-ba as the 'Towers of the Morning'. administered by Matthew Cabot, Ko-ro-ba was the home city of Tarl Cabot and was destroyed before His return from Earth. Port Kar: coastal city on the Tamber Gulf. Sardar: the mountain range where the Priest-Kings live. Schendi: a port city just south of the equator, having a population of c. 1 million citizens; is the base of operations for the League of Black Slavers. Tharna: city ruled by a Tatrix (female ruler) Thassa: the sea Thentis: located in the mountains, Thentis is famed for its tarn flocks. Turia: a major city-state of Gor, located south of the equator; named for the single Tur tree found at the bank of the stream by which it was built; celebrates the New Year at the summer solstice; often referred to as the 'Ar of the South'. |
