FW are welcome in Kassar, as long they remember their place. Though FW of the wagons are bold and spirited they often walk a fine line. Knowing that line is half the battle of being a FW of the wagons.

Though FW of Gor are in many ways subservient to men they are not doormats. It is a misconception that they are subservient to all men on Gor. Whilst they must look to the men of their home for guidance they are not expected to obey as a slave by being docile and subservient to every man who might walk into the camp. FW of the wagons were prized as captures by those of the cities due to their spirit, a reputation that would not be gained by being meek.

Some general guidelines for being a Wagon FW

When the slaves of the home are busy FW are required to offer service. It is also expected that a mated FW will offer service to her mate in other circumstances not just when the slaves are busy as that shows her respect to her mate.

FW, like all members of the wagons, are often kept busy during the day and into the evening with work. Ranging from their clan work to basic chores. As the men practice their skills, work with their clans, FW might also cook, clean, sew and tend the animals that belong to them or their mate. Laziness is not part of being in the wagons, not for men, women or slaves. For clan work there is a section on the messages boards to post and there are ways to make rp of this nature more interesting by working with others.

Though FW do not require permission to speak during the conversation of men it is wise to remember that many men will simply ignore your comments. They are men and do not have to pay attention to you. So if you wish your comments to carry weight make sure they are well thought out, apply to the situation and are not aimed as a way of showing �I know better than you do�. How you handle situations like this can make the difference between you being a respected member of your home and a pain that is ignored, laughed at or generally made fun of. Remember men can and will speak to you exactly how they wish to. Baiting FW is a common sport of men of Gor as many believe the cure for any FW, even one they respect, is a band of steel. So use your words wisely.

FW did not generally collar slaves, so unless there are no men in the camp leave it to them.

In times of trouble FW can do one of two things. Gather the slaves up out of the way to the safety of the storage wagon or help prepare kaiila, weapons, fire points. Listen to the men of the home and be aware of your skills. Even if you know the weapons of the wagons to a comfortable skill level any defense is in the hands of the men so listen to their guidance. If you are mated your mate may also require you to prepare to defend your wagon. If the camp is under attack use your common sense. If you don�t know how to use a bow then don�t try and use it, get in your wagon and grab what you can to defend. Remember women of the wagons DID defend their homes as the Paravaci found out to their dismay.

FW do need to remember that their comments to visiting frees can cause problems for the men of the camp. That doesn�t mean sit down and shut up if someone insults you, but your brothers in camp may not appreciate having to draw steel every time you throw insults at a visiting man just because he doesn�t accept men of Gor didn�t care what women said.

FW need to be aware of any locations that require an escort. Check with the Ubar or Camp Second before traveling.

FW did have a voice and did use it publicly, even when disagreeing with FM. On rare occasions, such as when a FW was disrupting something the men wished to watch (such as a play *see Players of Gor*) the FW would be gagged by the men. The majority of the time, however, men ignored the words of women.

FW are not sexual with other frees in public. There may be affection between a woman and her mate, and if that crosses the line a warning would be issued by the men of her home. Sleeping around in PM is going to eventually get you caught and collared, don�t do it. Avatars showing sexual situations, belly buttons, or other situations that the Ubar deems inappropriate will result in a warning to change it once, and courts the collar if it continues. Honest mistakes can happen, hence a warning. If the FW owns a slave and wishes to fur them that will take place in the privacy of the wagon and there will be no sexual contact publicly between the slave and the FW

A FW who becomes pregnant outside of an FC can be collared. If her mate dies or leaves her whilst pregnant she is not subject to a collar as that is the whim of Gor.

FC'd FW who are with child, should keep that rp to a minimum, as this is an adult chat site. Also, please remember, in deciding on the amount of your children, multiple births were very uncommon on gor, so in keeping with the books, they were uncommon in Kassar as well

FWs ARE allowed to watch sensuous dances and show their appreciate of them in a non sexual manner.

FW did get angry and storm off, but remember if you do that too often you are going to end up being looked as a drama queen. Have good cause for doing it. FM really don�t care what you are doing the vast majority of the time so all you do by pulling that is make you look foolish.

While some FW actively seem to dislike slaves, even going so far as to torment them when their Owners are not around, or to behave toward them in a rather cold and callous manner. Understand, though, that not only is such behavior perceived as mere jealousy on the part of the free woman involved and in some cases suggests that the free woman herself envies the position of the slave in question. The kajirae are expected to treat FW humbly at all times, as they would any other freeperson.

Finally, FWs can be disciplined if there is good cause. This does NOT always mean a collar. In fact, any FM who wants to collar a Kassar FW must have the Ubars permission to do so. Otherwise, FWs can be spanked, caged, caned, etc., just like slaves. However this is done with permission of the Ubar, or the FWs personal FC.) While this USUALLY is done in private to avoid undue embarrassment for the FW, it CAN be done in public if the infraction is severe enough. However, Men, consider carefully before you punish an FW in public as doing that sometimes reflects on your ability to control your temper.
