One of the most important things you will do in camp is to own slaves. To be a good Master/Mistress requires that you work at it. You need to know at least as much as the slaves know and you should know more than they do.

While you will set your own rules for your slaves, there are some general rules that all slaves should follow.

slaves do NOT travel anywhere without a Free, the exceptions are the Ubars slaves may go to the kajira sands and personally owned slaves may follow the rules set for them.

slaves should not hang out on icq, they should be in camp when possible.

slaves should not go to icq when they go to the wagon -- they are to stay in the camp.

slaves are allowed to ghost for a max of 7 minutes.. if they are going to be longer then that they must leave and come back.

slaves must ask permission to leave, they do not need to give a reason.

slaves may post RTI and go when needed.. but this must not be abused.

slaves should greet each entering Free and offer serve if they are not already serving.

when a slave enters camp, they should greet and offer to serve the Frees immediately. The slaves are to offer to the Free at their feet, there will be no hollering across camp. After that, they may greet their sisters, do a chore, or go off and do something else.

slaves will be required to do one chore each day they are in camp. The chore can be done anytime during the day. If a girl's Master assigns her a chore, that can count as her daily chore.

slaves should not discuss what happens in a wagon.

All slaves here in will be respectful, beautiful, sensual and graceful. After their training they will be tested and may be given different commands, either by a Master/Mistress or their trainer, and they are expected to follow those commands immediately, and without questioning them.

A slave of Kassar will NEVER be lazy!

A slave in Kassar will be completely obedient, she will act with respect, honor and pride.

A slave will never forget that she is a slave and she will always give the Free all the attention they need and deserve; in other words, her complete attention and desire to serve and fulfill their commands.

Chores by FW and slaves are to be done, posts should be made to the chore/activity board.

Chores should be realistic and kept Gorean. It is important to use our imagination and be creative. slaves are not permitted to touch any kind of weapons. The punishment for doing so is usually immediate death. slaves may use the ulo�s in the servery without permission.

A slave does not touch money either. A coin given to her for running errands she may carry in a pouch or tied into her leathers.

Free Persons are not always right. But in a discussion with a slave they are never wrong. Ignorance is no excuse for a slave to argue.

If a slave has any problem with a Free she is never to argue with them. she can either go to her Master/owner or live with it. After all, she's a slave. she does not make excuses or explanations unless she's asked for them.

A slave will have the last words in any discussion. And they are. "Yes Master!" The girls are taught these things during training, but you should make sure you enforce these rules too with your own slaves.

You may acquire some slaves out on the plains and they will not have been trained yet. Uncooperative slaves captured on the plains will be given a {DKP}collar. Captured slaves who are cooperative and slaves who come to camp and beg a collar will receive a {DKT} collar.

After a {DKT} slave finishes her training and passes her test successfully she will be branded and pierced by her Owner, and wear a {DK} collar. Ubar will either own her, sell her or gift her. That will be totally up to Him.

Being trained is a privilege. These captured slaves may be trained if they show they are worthy and they beg the Ubar. any {DKP} or {DKT} slave who either doesn't follow the rules or gives the trainers a hard time, can be punished according to the rules.

All slaves must go through training, no exceptions. Frees who have a legitimate claim on a {DKT} are required to send in an email to Kassar letting the Ubar know of that claim. When the slave has passed her test, she will be given to that Free.

During the time the slave is in a {DKT}, the Free has no special claim on her and she is to be treated like any other {DKT}. Frees should not expect special greetings from those {DKT}s, special attention from them, or special service from them. And, they are not to interfere in their training. If you don't like how the {DKT} is being trained, talk to the Ubar.

The only time a Free may interfere with a {DKT} is if the {DKT} is about to run from camp or kill herself, or if she is being mouthy or disruptive. Then, and only then, may a Free step in and chain (and gag if necessary) the {DKT}. And once that is done, that ends the involvement of the Free.

Now, there are important things to consider BEFORE you take a slave. The first is, will you and she be online at the same time. Countless slaves have been lost from Kassar because their Masters were never around. Plain and simple, don't take a slave unless you are prepared to be online when she is.

Also, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you EVER talk to ANY slave about the possibility of owning her. This includes even asking her if she would like to wear your collar, if she would like to be on your chain, etc. Doing this could get you thrown out of Kassar or killed.

Second, there are NO restricted slaves in camp. If you are looking for a monogamous relationship with your slave, you don't belong in Kassar. slaves are to be available to cyber with anyone. If you can't deal with that, either don't own slaves or leave camp.

Occasionally, for punishment, you will want to deny your slave the right to cyber. You may do this, but it requires the approval of the Ubar and can only be done for a specified limited time.

You, of course, may charge rent for the use of your girl. But please, keep this amount reasonable. 30 coppers seems about average in camp. No matter how good you think your girl is, on Gor her rent would be small. Please keep that in mind.

Finally, you have a responsibility to ALL slaves in camp, not just your own. If you are the only Free in camp with several slaves, it is YOUR responsibility to keep them busy. Find projects, games or contests for all the slaves to work on together. Or ask one for a drink, another to dance for you, a third to bring you food, a fourth to massage your back, etc.

You should know all the slave positions, but the following are the most important: Gorean Bow, Karta, Ko-lar, Leading Position, Nadu, Obediance, She-Sleen, She-sleen quadruped, Submission, Table, Tower and Whipping. Memorize these so you can correct your slave if she doesn't do it right. Detailed descriptions of these positions may be found on the site.

Discipline
One of the biggest complaints that is heard from the girls is that they want stronger Masters/Mistresses. Too many Frees are afraid to be strong because they are afraid they'll loose their slaves. Just the opposite is true. If you want to keep your slaves, you need to be strong. That's why the girls come here in the first place. They WANT to be dominated. If they were looking for a lover, they would go to a satin sheets room. They want a Master/Mistress.

Now, this does not mean you should be a bully or sadistic. What it does mean is that you need to control your girls. You need to set rules for your girls, and when they disobey, you should punish them. BUT, punishing does not necessarily mean whipping or spanking them. Some girls will deliberately disobey JUST to GET a spanking.

As a Master/Mistress, it is your job to figure out what sort of discipline your girl really does not want. For example, one effective means of discipline is to tell your girl she can't come to camp for a couple of days. Another is to make her a slave to another slave for a while.

Some slaves will try to get you to promise certain things -- like that you won't buy another slave or that you won't FC. Remember, slaves are only property. Would you make such a promise to your dog or cat? Then don't make one to a slave. Remember, YOU are in charge, not her. If she doesn't like it and disneys out, you and the entire camp are better off not having her in Kassar.

Your slave should NEVER make a scene in public. It is impractical to assume that the slaves will never disagree with their Owners, never fight with them. But one thing you should make absolutely certain of is that she NEVER does this in public. Generally, Masters/Mistresses allow their slaves more latitude in pms or on icq -- it is up to you to set the boundaries for your slave on those two. But in public, she should ALWAYS be respectful and obedient, not only to you but to All Frees in camp. Make sure she understands this.

You also should spend time teaching her what it is to be a slave. Remind her that she has no rights, that her feelings are not important, that her only reason for being in camp is to make YOU and other Frees happy. Too many of the slaves tend to forget this after a while and start thinking they are entitled to certain things. It is your job to make sure they know they are not.

The other thing that tends to happen after a slave has been in camp for a while is what they call "slave burnout." It usually starts with the slave not coming to camp often, and when she does come to camp, it is only when You are there or only to talk to her friends. You must stay on top of this and nip it in the bud. The best way to keep your slave interested in camp is to keep her active -- both IN camp and behind the scenes. Talk to the Ubar and find things that your slave can do to contribute to the camp. If they feel an ownership in the camp, they will want to come.

Your slave should be totally devoted to you, but don't let yourself fall into the trap of feeling you must be totally devoted to her. This is NOT a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. You can love your slave with all your heart, but never forget, you are her Master. The best way to keep the Master/slave relationship is to make certain she is used by several others, that you use several others and that you own more than one slave if possible.

Also, be aware that sometimes slaves become attached to other Masters. If you see this happening, stop it. The best way to keep your slave from becoming too attached to another Master is to forbid her for a while to pm and icq or to fur in wagons. This keeps all her conversation with the other Master out in public and things are not likely to go too far. Remember, this is YOUR slave, but you need to do the things necessary to keep her.

Also, remember that the Ubar can discipline your slave. Even if you don't approve of the discipline He chose, you should not relay that to your slave. Frees should ALWAYS present a united front to the slaves. If you have a problem with the way your slave has been disciplined, discuss it in private with the Ubar.

You will be informed once you answer all the questions correctly, and told that you have passed.
