A marvellous artist, a master of traditional and modern paint media, Rudy Garcia is a
fascinating person. He chose to work as an illustrator during the golden age of advertising. I think he may have owned an airbrush, but he didn't use it. He could make
paint and a brush do anything he wanted them to do. He was especially good at illustrations for hosiery ads. Crazy about women; he had just finished sculpting the little female figure seen beside him in the image. No client for it; he just felt like doing it.
