Yes, that's me, yer humble annotator. This is probably my favorite image of myself. KAS captured me in full techno-art-geek mode. I would have been perfectly thrilled to have gone to engineering school;
but an interesting set of learning disabilities ruled out that career path.
So, I went to art school, and do machines and devices as art. This image was made in the midst of work on a show of a dozen sculptures which functioned as telephones. During the day, at that time, I was also writing and illustrating The Loft Book, Running Press, 1976. No wonder I had no time to waste in the barber's chair.
