The following songs were created using a the fundamental principle defining fractals - self similarity. Each song is generated from a three note pattern. The first phrase is the pattern itself. This phrase is repeated three times, starting on the respective notes of the pattern. These three repititions constitute a new phrase, which is likewise repeated on the three notes of the pattern. This methodology can create an arbitrary number of phrases, each of which both contrasts and repeats previous material.
