| The Green Lady brings her gloved hands together, clapping at the Impression of the green firelizard. Yet another chuckle escapes her lips, and she frowns slightly, then rises, deciding to shush her laughing with a glass of wine. Weaving her way among the masked throngs, she approaches the table of refreshments, idly wondering if there's any wine left. The shimmering bodice of her costume blurs her image a bit, like a forest amidst a summer wind. Sinead calls to Entil'Zha, who flies over and lands on her shoulder. Kilbane nods mutely, his taste not totally different. After a draw from the mouth of the bottle, he runs his tongue over his teeth and lightly lowers the flask to the table with low 'thump'. "I think one 'lizard's enough for me." He declares, to start a new subject. As you can see, he's devoid of flizzen food. Karanaya stands idly by her bowl of raw meat, glancing around at the occupants of the area and the remainging flits, hazel eyes sparkling in the sunlight Day grins up into Night's eyes.. always welcome he is.. "They are indeed.. As all of ours are as well." She never startles from him, but always welcomes the touch. Sky kneels as the green creels at her. Meat is nudged towards 'lizard and Sky carefully lifts the green, bringing her into the light of the stars. "Beautiful, aren't you." she murmurs softly. Which naturally produces the worst kind of shrieking sound - even Shaiyun winces, long inured as he is, as Goober hurtles over his shoulder to inspect this new arrival. "Ack!" he yelps, bringing up his hands to instinctively grasp the blue and then he yelps again as his new pet chomps down on the meat, hand and all. "An' you /are/ a sissy girl." he says, stubbornly. Fast and quick to make their choice. The Tunnelsnake's talons clack together as she applauds both victims of blue and green, broad grin mostly hidden in the shadows of her hood. Taking care to not snag her tail on anything, she stands after an approving, "Good for you," to Sky then turns to seek out a source of water. Someone -really- needs to get these hands washed off before they start to go ripe from handling all of that raw meat. Namah goes home. Fire Eyes blinks in from ::between::! Kaslarna calls to Our Lady the Queen Green Hatchling, who flies over and lands on her shoulder. The Thread decides that she should be heading back tot he Weyr now, though first she removes the cowl covering her face and hair. Pulling of the fluffly white mask blue hair falls free and the face of guard recruit Sinead is revealed. "Sissy am I Shaiyun. Unfortunatly for you, I know where you sleep," Ead states, as she grins mischeviously to the Weyrbrat. R'ley calls to Libertia, who flies over and lands on his shoulder. R'ley picks up Eggie Basket. Shaiyun goes red rather than white, and with a classic move of survival, he seizes the blue - as yet unnamed - and Goober, and hurtles himself nearly headfirst from the Caverns. Southern Feline has managed to skewer the bouncing meat and noting the hatchlings have found those to choose, safely deposits it elsewhere. A small rag is scooped up to wipe at the claws with. Messy stuff. Slipping off one gloved paw, she opts for a mug of hot klah, finding a seat and leaning back to smile at those close by while she sips. Shaiyun calls to Aspiring Duelist Blue Hatchling, who flies over and lands on his shoulder. R'ley releases Libertia, who launches into the air. R'ley goes home. Night raises his hands for a momment to clap for the new impressees. One of whom's costume is quite remarkably simmilar to those of him and his opposite. "I'm very sorry I got here late... But you know what it's like when things just have to be attended to." He finds a chair and sits near, but just behind, Day, so they can talk a little easier. "So what all did I miss?" The Green Lady sighs, settling for a glass of water instead. Turning in a whisper of emerald, she leans against the table, waving to those as they leave, and debating whether she should lift her mask as well or maintain her floral illusion. Raising her sienna eyes as the hatchlings fly to their newly-Impressed humanpets, she giggles again, the looks up at the firelizards perched above. Sure enough, her green is among them. The Fish has by no managed to placate the bronze, much to newly dubbed Ribot's satisfaction, and has gotten up, despite the fact that his costume sags a bit due to the broken ribs. The Tunnelsnake is searched for, and he goes to join her once again, and hopefully Sky too. "So about that nibbling..." The Thread chuckles slightly as she replaces the cowl, covering up her face and hair, hopefully not too many people saw her make the boy run for his life, that just wouldn't be any good. A look around reveals that the eggs have all hatched and have Impressed. "Congratulations to all those who Impressed!" She explains, hopefully loud enough to be heard by the Impressee's. Continuing to smile, Day nods to several of the newly Impressed.. "I arrived just in time for the Hatching, so that's all I have seen so far. I don't know if there is a Harper, but I am hoping for dancing as well." her smile softens as she thinks on her recent news.. and how she might actually tell Night. Gloves are neatly slipped off, leaving milk-white hands bare as the Tunnelsnake seeks out that water source. An empty bowl is finally found and a pitcher of the needed liquid appropriated, poured into said bowl so that the clawed gloves can be dunked within. "Yeees?" is the all too innocent reply given the Fish when he approaches. "I would have thought you'd have had your fill of nibbling tonight..." In the shadowed hood, one peridot-shaded eye closes in a teasing wink. Kilbane reclines dangerously into his chair, the front legs suspended in mid air. His fliz is given a generous stroke and is offered a drink of the placid ale in, all in a jocose action. After a humble lick, the bronzer twists his features into a mask of utmost distaste and shuffles his wings together, insulted. Shrugging, Kilbane takes the 'lizard's share without so much as a qualm. Southern Feline finishes her mug of klah and rises. Fur covering is hot, beads of sweat starting to run down her painted face. Time to get this thing off and change into something a tad more comfortable. Padding softly across the large room she heads out towards the bowl. The housekeeper arrives to cart Shaiyun off to bed. Keydi walks to the Bowl. Zinyea places one foot carfully after the other in from the Southeastern Bowl. Sabeacia suddenly disappears ::between::! Karanaya yawns and glances around Sabeacia blinks in from ::between::! Sky smiles, standing up and carefully balancing the little green. "Anyone else think that we sholud start the great unmasking process?" she announces with a smile to all the costumed people present. Namah strides in from the South Caverns. Karanaya is slightly confused The Green Lady decides to see how well her costume hides her identity. Singling out Kilbane as a victim, she casually strolls over to him, looking down at him with amused sienna eyes. "Well hello there, Kilbane. Fancy seeing you here, and without a costume, too? Tsk tsk." She waggles a green-gloved finger at him, along with a subtle wink. "And why aren't you dressed?" "Aye, but you'll note that the blue and the bronze didn't get stuck on me. I need people to be stuck on me." So goes the ego of the Fish, as he attempts a bow, which is much easier now than it was before his ribs broke, sending a nice waft of air from the tail toward his face, which he rejoices in. At least in the bits that seep through the eyeholes and mouth hole. Ribot, meanwhile, has rejoined him, viciously attacking that tail, as this Fish obviously needs to be taught a lesson for having left him. He manages to resist the urge to nod that would toss the new metallic off, agreeing vocally with Sky in a, "I think we should. These costumes are shardin' hot!" Zinyea is terribly late but doesn't care. She's here, and that would be that. Amazing if anyone recognizes her, however, the girl normally in slacks in something probably borrowed from someone with a great many more marks than she's got. But in she mingles, slight smile gracing her face polite. Karanaya walks out. Thread moves through the crowd yet again, wondering if she could possibly hunt down her cousins blue rider friend. "Tall, brown hair," she mutters, doubting that she will find that person, considering that it is a masqued ball, and he's probably masked. "Goes by the name Izza, no, that's not it, Izz'y maybe?" A shrug is offered before she here's a voice. "Unmasking? But this is so much fun." Sikkyen walks in from the Southeastern Bowl. Azi releases Zareb, who launches into the air. A grand time is had simply watching the newly hatched bronze attack that bobbing tail. Who'd have thought a simple costume could provide a full evening's amusement? The Tunnelsnake responds with a laughing, "But, my dear fish, I was stuck on you and freed! What makes you think I haven't learned my lesson about fish that don't look to be dangerous until you nibble on them?" As for unmasking, a grateful, "I'd love to. Who goes first?" wafts out of the hood in a louder tone meant for those nearby. Night nods quietly, he looks around the room. "Well... I must say just coming to see everyone is worth it." He lifts a soft-gloved hand to rub across his forehead, but puts it down again, remembering the mask. "You look quite stunning, by the way. The costume turned out marvelous." He leans away from Day as he says this to examine her better. "By the way... You must tell me who all impressed when we get home, I arrived much to late to sort everything out." He tilts his head towards the general croud. Unmasking already? And he's hardly had time to get used to his own... Ah well, it's not particulairly comfortable, and his better than some others. Like the fish... who sounds familiar, doesn't he? Kilbane raises his head at the mention of his name, the bottle swirled absently in his hand. "I have a costume, see?" Gesture to his two streaks of fire blue across his cheeks. Now, the real challenge is trying to figure out who this young lady is. Green tunnel snake talkes off her gloves revealing the pink tinged wrinkly hands under them. The blood soaked gloves had given her hands this horrible look. She tries to dry out her hands a tad by rubbing them on the leather but it doesn't help. She looks at the gloves. They will be stiff and uncomfortable if she lets them dry like this. She looks around for somewhere to rinse them out. Fenrys walks in from the Southeastern Bowl. Darth Vader/Shadow'd Man/The Ominous Trader sits against the wall, cradling the curled, sleeping Roi. Deep, dark, Palpatine-depth hood is just itching to be pulled off; it gets *hot* under there, one must realize. Surrounded by his fair of three, the man idly watches. That's the greatest part about the costume -- he can watch, stare, gawk, or do any other un-Vaderishic things without many people noticing. Well.. They notice his vaguely menacing aire, but not his watchful gaze. The Green Lady laughs as Kilbane indicates the two random streaks of cobalt across his cheeks. "Indeed, my mistake, oh Blue-Streaked Lord." A slight smirk accompanies her subtle curtsey towards him. "But you see, my young man...I still have the advantage here..I can tell who you are, but can you guess my true identity?" Sienna eyes sparkling, she settles into a seat near him, rustling of skirts like leaves in a storm. "And if you're nice, I might just give you a hint." Wink. Sky stands taller. "Shall I start?" she asks the crowd at random with an extravegant twirl of her cloak. And with out waiting for an answer, hands go to face, then move away, mask in hands, revealing Sky to be... Kaslarna "Its me!" she proclaims with a smile. "Whose next?" The Fish grins from within his cape of incognito, also known as the scaly body suit. "Adn, my dear Tunnelsnake, would you believe that one last nibble would be an order before this whirlwind costuming is done, and we all realize who the other is?" Blinkblink. "And you could always take off the hood first, I'd have no problem with that," is added with an imperceptible wink from within the fish butt. Oh well, it's unmasking now. "I'll go last..." Kidlet-Azi is still there, much to the chargin of her little blue. "Now really..I told you, no more meat!" Blue tilts his head, gives a demanding squawk and thwaps tail against her knee. Her bare knee, which causes squeak of protest. "Hey!" Another squawk and tilt of the blue's head sends Azi into a fit of laughter, and hand reaching for meat. "Fine..if you insist..but..if you get too heavy to fly, it's your fault." Green tunnel snake sees people starting to pull of their masks and gratefully begins to remove hers. Never mind the hole up her leg. At least the rear seam held tight so far. She raises her mask to set it atop her head so that she won't misplace it later and under the mask is Namah. yeah everyone is /so/ excited now right? Kilbane takes a final draw of the ale and sets it down with a slight bang before resting his chair back onto all four legs. Leaning forward, he inclines his head forward, trying to get as close a look as he can. He's liking this fancy talk. "You have the trump card, I agree.. Can I have a hint?" Lilah walks in from the Southeastern Bowl. Given that it -is- rather stifling in said hood, the Tunnelsnake wastes no time in reaching up with those degloved and oh so pale hands to remove the burlap and wire contraption. Platinum hair, now frizzed by being so rudely confined in burlap, poofs around the milk-white face of Isoldi. "So maybe I'm not as evil as I seemed," she remarks, grin staking a firm claim on her expression. Equally pale eyebrows are then waggled at the Fish. "Afraid to let me see the true fish within?" Thread likes her mask, and doesn't want to take it off, she'll goback to the Weyr like this, doesn't matter to her. The Thread looks around and see's Kilbane the candidate, former 'Reachian, a chipper wave is sent in his direction as she looks about at all the unmasking faces. Lewis walks in from the Southeastern Bowl. The Green Lady turns her head a moment, noticing as the masques are beginning to be lifted, revealing the identities of the wearers. Turning back to Kilbane, her lips curve into an even wider smile, eyes still sparkling. "Hmm...looks like you don't have much time, either, as others are beginning to unmask." Wink. "Hmm...well, we've met." Not much of hint giver, is she? Leaning back, she runs her fingers along the edge of her glass, slowly. Lilah goes home. Night gives a little nod, and a laugh as Kaslarna un-masks. Good for her... Sky costumes are good. She helped clean his weyr, didn't she? He did always like her. He doesn't recognize the faces revealed by either of the tunnelsnakes, but he's not managed to meet everyone at the Weyr yet, let alone anyone who visits, so he's still okay. Giving a little shrug he turns to Day, "Shall we?" he asks, reaching for his mask. If he pauses just right, they can un-mask in unison. Squaln goes home. Mister Darth Vader seems to be regretting this; to throw away his respirator and nifty black outfit seems to be a crime. However... He's in a corner, no one'll recognize him, and it is stifling with heat. So, he strips his gloves and straightens his gauntlets. A seemingly idle motion, a flick of a pale hand; the dark hood settles back in a careless fashion, and Sikkyen is revealed -- shoulderlength hair slicked back into a runner's tail, his striking features, and everything. The Istan stablehand quirks off a slight smile, before returning to observing the newest addition to his fair. Wherry-Girl arrives just in time for the unmasking. Puntuality, after all, is not one of her main traits. Well, good thing she didn't wear a mask--however, the makeup still has oblitetrated all recognizable features of her face. Not that anybody here knows her anyway, but whatever. Instead, she goes to get a drink and enjoy the joyous occasion. Blue 'lizard isn't going to unmask herself only a few moments in(for her), and would be very little-recognized anyway. Instead she sort of strolls lacidasically up to someone, anyone, murmurs a greeting under her breath while looking ever bit like she's not paying attention to whomever it is she's talking with. One hand delicatly fingers her dress, and then she clasps them oh-so-properally together. Sky blushes under her mask. "Thank you kind sir, you look quite dashing in a silent way as well. I confess Nuadayth was amused as I was finishing up. I think he liked my nuances involving his name." A look about the hall. "As to whom Impressed what? I don't know, they are all in costume." Kilbane notices the movement of a random wave amidst the throng of limbs and gives a grunt when he sees the figure is masked. Well, who isn't besides he and Squaln? Politely, however, he returns the wave and mentally makes note to seek them later in the evening. His attention then returns to the Lady in front of him. "That isn't really much of a hint, you know.." A sparkle can be detected within the fathoms of his eyes. "Tell me, are you a candidate?" Namah tucks her gloves into her belt pouch. she can always wash them later. She looks around at the people in the room smiling apreciatively at the costumes that she couldn't see as well before she removed her mask. She grins at Isoldi."I like your costume." She grins at the woman she only met once before. The Green Lady laughs again, head going back as one gloved hand reaches up to caress her throat. "Why no, I admit I am not. Though I might hope to be, someday." Still chuckling, she simply sighs amusedly at him. "So. I am not a Candidate, but we have met." One corner of her lips raise up, coyly. "And here's a freebe hint for you. I am in a craft." Though which one, he'll just have to figure out, if he can. The Fish lifts an arm to point first to Isoldi's hair, and then to her face, and then lets out a little, but not evil, laugh. "You!" he says with as much intelligence as he can muster, taking the pointing hand to shoo at the bronze on his head. Ribot finally leaves as the Fish tucks in his arms, and the whole fishy body is lifted. With much grunting, groaning, straining, and struggling, the whole thing comes off, as the costume designer wasn't smart enough to simply make a detachable fish butt hood. And finally, once the sagging frame of the Fish is on the floor and the bulbous eyes are staring up, Debajirin is left, sweat matting his hair and making his shorts and shirt stick to him. And his legs are still blue. Sky, now revealed as Kaslarna smiles as the TunnelSnake is revealed as fellow candie Isoldi. "Great costume." she says, glancing around at the other unmaskings. Then, quietly she slips off out of the Caverns, cloak billowing behind her and green cradled in her arms with a muttered "Enjoy the rest of the party". Where she is going, no-body but her shall know. To Namah and Kaslarna, Isoldi bows grandly in gratitude for the compliment, the stuffed tail sticking out at an angle behind her as she bends over. "Too kind! Yours were, of course, lovely as well," she gushes with a wink and a grin, before transferring that grin Debajirin revealed. "Me! Is that truly such a bad thing? And no making fun of my hair, unless I can taunt you about...well..." A triumphant finger points at the man's bared legs. Now that he's not being swallowed by a fish, having cerulean fuzz on one's legs looks a bit...odd. Kaslarna goes home. Namah goes home. Sky blushes under her mask. "Thank you kind sir, you look quite dashing in a silent way as well. I confess Nuadayth was amused as I was finishing up. I think he liked my nuances involving his name." A look about the hall. "As to whom Impressed what? I don't know, they are all in costume." The Green Lady's smile widens further. Perhaps there's still hope for this candidate yet? "I might." She chuckles softly again before taking another sip from her glass. Eyes look a bit demurely at him, as one hand falls to rest delicately upon her lap, like a fallen leaf. "Indeed, I own much more than a glowstick." Wink. A Slightly Suspiscious-Looking Shadow Dude wanders in, and is swallowed into a crowd of costumed people from all over. He strolls aimlessly around the place, looking for something to do. Debajirin nods compliments to all the other costumes, adding a bit of a grin to Day and Night, and then returning his full attention to 'his' evil Tunnelsnake. "Well, no, you is quite a good thing. I wouldn't have expected it..." The milky skin she's got makes her look a tad too innocent. "But it's not bad at all... I don't mean to make fun of you. It just looks funny." Maybe he does mean to make fun. Meh. "You like my legs? Zella dyed 'em for me..." "Well...I suppose it did, at that," Isoldi chuckles, reaching up to pat at the poofy mess. It takes a minute or two, but some semblance of order is returned. Being somewhat sweaty does help. "Everyone else I know expected it, to be honest. Rolled their eyes at me, the works...what else was I going to do with all of the extra teeth and talons I had, though?" When presented that way, it seems logical enough. Tucking the hood under one arm, she idly pokes at the gloves in their water bath and notes, "Very nice legs. Quite well shaped. And I have to admit, the blue gives them a certain...exotic look." Uh-huh. The blue (and gold?) firelizard doesn't seem to be doing well at catching conversation, and so mimicks the shadow, strolling about, taking very proper steps, her great amount of skirts swaying to and fro. A polite smile to the other costumed persons, and she comes to a halt, sort of in the middle of everything and nothing all at once. "Chirrup?" Yes, she has chirruped, however.. it almost comes out dignified. Almost. Kilbane lurches forward, the secret now out. "I suspected as much, you know." Leaning back into his chair, he relaxes now that the chirade's over. "I don't understand the logic behind why you picked a Lady to mimic though.." Another unsuccesful attempt to smother the dry humor. Day casts an eye about the room.. "Are we all unmasking now? I suppose I can do that as well." She waits to hear from, well.. anyone about it.. another admiring glance to the disguised bluerider. Thread looks about, spotting a firelizard over there, hopefully not a flaming one, or she might be in trouble. The still masked Thread moves to a seat and sits, her feet hurting from all the mingling, the boots really aren't that good for standing. The Green Lady arches one eyebrow delicately beneath her mask. "Oh?" Leaning forward, she pats him on the back...right on the same spot where a certain Healer girl tapped him the other day. *pat* "And pray, what costume do you think would've been appropriate for me?" Her eyes focus on Kilbane, a bit of amusement in them, along with a Look that says go-on,-I-dare-you. Debajirin raises an eyebrow at her, nodding slowly and still just grinning. Grin grin grin. "Well, I suppose it would make sense... See, I did the fish, cause that's what I do. Or at least did. I was pondering coming as a beer mug, actually, but I don't know how that would've gone over... A fish seemed a better choice to me." He shrugs, looking her over (well, her face at least, and a bit of focus on her tail too). "Thanks, really?" is asked of her comment to his legs, and he strikes a pose, flexing muscles and making the limbs bumpier in general. "I'm going for exotic. And y'know, it comes in handy when you're wearing a skirt." The Slightly Suspicious-Looking Shadow Dude roams about, looking for some others of his sort to hang out with. See the blue/gold flizzen, he nods politely and comments on her costume. "I like yor outfit. You're a fire lizard, right?" As if it wasn;t obvious. Izz'y catches Baji's grin, before removing his mask, and returns it after pushing the mask up on his head. "Well, it seems that most everyone has now..." Some of them look about the same maskless... Not so for the ex-fish, but that one was always a little different. Night looks to his partner, and makes a gesture with his head in that general direction, trying to indicate that he wouldn't mind if they went to talk to those lot. Kilbane twists under the touch, the spot not particularly sore, but he wants to exaggerate the effect. He knows quite well, this may earn him a twin slap, but he'd instigate until he was a bloody mess. "Oh I dunno, a proddy green maybe or a wild feline?" Rarr. Brid removes her mask as well.. "Well, it was a lovely time, Izz.. I'm sorry you missed so much. I'm sorry i did as well. "eyes to where he indicated.. "Shallwe join your friends?" If anyone can outgrin Debajirin, it's going to be Isoldi. Or, at least, the young woman is certainly going to try, even as she mimics him as well in looking him over. "A beer mug would have been fun, but I did rather like the fish. More likely to nibble on one of those, see..." Tease tease tease, grin grin grin. The tail that's caught attenion is dragged around from rear to front and flipped neatly over one shoulder for that oh so fashionable fluttery scarf look. Only fair that she make it more ogle-able when he's doing the same by flexing like that. "A skirt...oh, I quite agree. Of course, that does depend on the skirt's length. Me, I'm partial to longer, but then that's to avoid blinding people..." The Green Lady grins fully, giving Kilbane a thorough pinch in the side before shaking her head. Mask still upon her face, she waves at him. "You would like that, wouldn't you?" She mrowrs softly, in effect. "Just remember, my dear Candidate Kilbane. I've seen you before. /All/ of you." Wink. "And it wasn't exactly pretty." Snicker. With that, she rises in a flourish of greenish gold, and flounces off to mingle in the crowd. Firelizard flushes slightly because she's being addressed and her costume complimented. But alto voice remains smooth, intoning, "Yes, I am, and thank you. Yours certainly is... dark. Almost suspicious." Eyes twinkle behind her mask, and she extends her hand. "Pleased to meet you, mysterious one." Pause, "Well, sort of meet you." Thread decides that she should be heading back to High Reaches, now, but first, she removes her cowl, just so anyone who didn't see before can see. After removing her cowl bright blue hair falls free and Sinead is visible now. A wave is sent to the crowd as she guard makes her way out, replacing the mask as she goes. Sinead quietly steps to the Bowl. Izz'y shrugs "Certainly, but first," he holds up a finger as he steps quickly to a table nearby, finding a jug of chilled water and pouring two glasses. He offers one to Brid as he quickly finds his place next to her. Slipping across the room in a way much facilitaded by the lack of socks and the much smoother floors, he pauses near Debajirin and interjects in what seems like a break in the conversation, "Nice legs." The Mysterious Shadow Dude grins amiably. "Well met, golden one." He shakes her hand but quickly drops before the black paint on his hands has a chance to smear on hers. Smooth, Shadow-dude. Ignoring the near-disaster, he says "I would unmask, but I don't think I can." The shadow smiles helplessly. Debajirin will not be outgrinned, Faranth no! But he'll bide his time too, happily bobbing his head to her comments, and oogling appropriately at the tail flip. Sorta like a hair flip, almost... "Well, I had a shorter one. Came down to about my knees. It wasn't my choice though, that was Weyrwoman Hannah's skirt, so y'know... And I am rather fond of the fish myself." As this triggers something of a thought, he bends, grabbing up the fish and slinging it over his shouler. "Wouldn't the boys from the boat I was on back home love to see this? I should get someone to sketch it and send it to them! D'you sketch?" The big fish bulges it's eyes at anyone behind his back, and the fish is the welcome Izz'y will get. "Why thank you, rider!" is said, with a bit of accent on the title. "Or you could get someone to take it to them...maybe fix it to the front of one your ships. Fool the schools to come in closer," Isoldi suggests in bright tones. Obviously, she is not of the sea. "Alas, I don't sketch. I do however make necklaces. These were just extras on the hood, but..." It takes some doing, involving serious contortion and the wriggling of a hand through a tear in the side seam of the costume, but fingertips eventually delve into a pocket and come out with...no big surprise...a string of wherhide from which dangle ivory tunnelsnake teeth. Laughing eyes traipse after Izz'y before returning to watch Debajirin while she presents the little 'hide and ivory trinket. "I do make necklaces. Want one?" Consider it an apology for not protecting him from that bronze. Firelizard grins, not really noticing that she almost got paint on her hands. "Well that's fine, because I've just gotten here, and I'm not about to remove mine. Probably wouldn't know anyone, in any event. I'm from the 'Reaches, you see." A tiny nod and her head tilts lightly to the side, "Came up with someone... but I suppose they were here for a different reason." In other words, she mysteriously appeared. Ahem. Debajirin takes on a quizzical look at the mention of necklaces, though listening to her explanations with a Harper's enthusiasm, a little trick he'd learned from a barmaid back home. He cranes his neck for a better view of her digging hand, and then grins (see, he's trying to rebuild his title) as the thing is produced. "Want one? Well, umm... They are kinda nice lookin', at least that one is... I wouldn't want to be a bother though." Decent fisherman that he is, who, a while ago, was asking for nibbles. Oh well. "But I suppose if you really want..." Beam as he leans in for a closer inspection of the necklace. Mysterious Shadow Dude nods. "'Reaches, eh? I'm from there originally, but now I'm a Traveler. I guess I'm about as anonymous as you in this bunch." The shadow yawns. "I'm thinking of living at Gar, but nothing's set in stone for the moment." He shifts his weight from one foot to the other, for his black boots seem to be unevenly sewn. Unless one foot was bigger than the other. In whatever case, it hurts. Izz'y smirks just a bit, "You're welcome, candidate." He's much to tired to figure out the reason for the accent, but by reflex he plays along, stressing the word candidate in more-or-less the same way. His eyes flick to the Tunnelsnake, who's name he doesn't know. "And who is this lovely... lady... that you're charming?" The pause before the use of the word 'lady' is given only because he can't think of a better word... or at least of one that will sound nice to describe Debajirin's companion. Her costume is quite clever and it almost seems insulting to it to call her a 'lady', but 'creature' certainly won't do. A quick 'Oh' escapes him and he turns his wrists foreward to show thumb-hooked sleeves. See... He's going to do his very best, (which isn't very good) to embarass this candidate. So far he's been much too nice. He's been /told/. The Green Lady decides she's enjoyed her little banter with Kilbane, and it's about time she got back to her...duties. Nodding to those around the room, masked and unmasked, she bids them a good evening. On her way towards the exit, however, she pauses behind Debajirin, grins slightly, then takes one gloved hand and whacks him on the behind. *whack* Yet another candidate who she's seen before. And she means, -seen-. Frist blinks in from ::between::! Speaking of nibbles, Isoldi'll bring those up as hands are raised to slip the necklace over Debikirin's head. "Just look at it as me getting my teeth on you again," she remarks, voice completely innocent though the words may not be. Who needs a costume to hide behind when being naughty? Not she! So once the necklace is handed over, she'll begin to wriggle out of said costume, revealing regular if somewhat sweaty clothing beneath. And, come to mention it, a candidate's knot. Imagine that. "Isoldi, rider, one time tunnelsnake hunter extraordinaire, now dragon bait and chore sufferer. And I have never been, nor will ever be, a lady. I leave that to the fluttery types," she adds with a grin and a nod to Izz'y. "Besides, I think I'm charming -him-..." Firelizard mock-pouts, "Aww, come back to 'Reaches," Eyelashes flutter behind golden obscurement, "Of course, I do see the merit of Travelling.. my parents are Traders, after all. And Gar is nice. Almost went there myself." She gives a shrug and then frowns as she notices the shifting, "Are you alright? Care to sit down?" Though how she'll sit in her dress remains a mysetery. Kerali croons softly to Kethri, who chirps in reply and glides over to her shoulder. "Charming? Oh, well I dunno if I'm charming her. I'm just talkin', y'know..." He wouldn't charm, honest... Not without that fish butt on his head he wouldn't. "This is Isoldi. Isoldi, Izz'y. Izz'y, Isoldi." Figuring that ought to suffice in the way of introduction, then realizing that she has very well introduced herself. Oh well, he still enjoyed playin around the with 'I' names. "Those are very nice," he approves to Izz'y's shirt, even goin so far as to hover a finger above the sleeve. "Can I inspect them?" A.K.A. poke at your wrist? "Yes, she would be charming me. I'm gonna try and resist that though, you realize," he warns Isoldi with a grin. Can't be too easy after all. The teeth of the necklace are touched gingerly with a finger, and Debajirin beams a wee bit more. "It's nice, thanks, a lot." Good job or resisting her charm he's doin', eh? "Every time I look at it I'll think of, for just a moment, being joined with you at the head." Camellia walks in from the South Caverns. Camellia walks to the Bowl. Grinning wickedly, Shadow nods. "That'd be nice. C'mon, there's a bench over there." He deliberately pretends not to notice the dificulties Goldie would have to challenge with her dress. Muah. As he leads her to the bench, he continues the conversation. "As I said, I could always change my mind. I might go back to 'Reaches, but the fact that the winters are so cold is discouraging. I'll decide soon enough, in any case." Yeah right. As they reach the bench, he stays standing in case the Flizzen should need help. Izz'y tilts his head down aknowledging his mistake. "I'm sorry... Candidate Isoldi. I will remember that in the future. I'm Izz'y, as he said... Rider of Blue Nuadayth, and I will make sure to find some chores to cause you suffering with." Introductions having been made, he offers a glove-and-sleeved hand in greeting. He realizes that Baji was looking at it, and gives a little start, crossing the other arm over to present to the fisherman-on-hold. "Of course, go ahead..." He says in response to the query. "I see...." Izz grins his crooked little grin in a way that might almost be considered evil and pointedly looks at Isoldi. "And do you have a purpose in your resisting, dare I ask?" Mihally walks in from the Southeastern Bowl. Fitz climbs up onto a bench and leans his back against the tabletop, sighing. "Never /ever/ ask a drudge to help you out with a costume." Lewis goes home. So the lines of just who is charming whom have become somewhat blurred. Not really too much of a problem, given that it all has to be just talk. Those little white knots are better than an ice cold bucket of water. "A pleasure to meet you, Izz'y sir," Isoldi says post-introduction, idly shaking out the burlap jumpsuit before draping it over one shoulder. With the hood clutched under one arm and the bloody gloves in one hand, she makes quite the sight. But it was hot in there, so stripping like that was understandable. The unoccupied hand is then slipped into the rider's to complete the greeting ritual. "From one such as yourself, I quite look forward to such chores. Just let me know when you want me to suffer," she says next with a little eyebrow wriggle, "Yeah, Debajirin! It's not good to resist me. My feelings might get hurt." Fenrys goes home. Firelizard eyes the bench, looks down at her skirt, and eyes the bench again. And somewhere in there the person she was talking to disappears. And so she gives a little sigh, with, "For shame... I didn't even get his name." And so she just sort of looks about and deciding to leave. Hand is waved distractly and a loud enough, "Whooever's idea this was, thanks for having it!" And no, she doesn't unmask. Zinyea goes home. Camellia walks in from the Southeastern Bowl. Camellia walks to the Bowl. Camellia walks in from the Southeastern Bowl. Mihally tilts her head wondering how it al went Camellia walks to the Bowl. Debajirin finishes with his inspection of Izz'y's thumbholes, a little laugh at the rider taking his hand away and giving another and all that, and raising an eyebrow almost challengingly to the somewhat 'older' man. "Not bad... I think with a bit of practice, if your partner allows, you could almost have a fisherman-worthy shirt. Of course, then don't go and show them at SeaCliffs, they'll make you haul nets, and that can kill in the shoulders for the first week or two." And then he finds himself cornered with the questions of resistance, and shrugs, blinking innocently at the ceiling. "Well, I wouldn't want to hurt /your/ feelings Isoldi, but I wouldn't want to hurt those of..." and how to call her now, " a certain 'bartendress' either." A weak smile, accompanied by a faint sniffle, comes after that. Frist suddenly disappears ::between::! Kiyna strides in from the South Caverns. Izz'y nods in a very polite manner to Isoldi. "A pleasure to meet you as well, and I will make sure to let you know if anything comes up." His voice is very sincere and totally ignorant of any type of slight teasing. Perhaps he's just very naive, or perhaps he's making a point. Izz gives Debajirin a pat on the shoulder with the hand that is now finished being inspected and withdraws the other one, to hang by his side. "Ah... So you're really just playing the diplomat..." His own eyebrows flick just a bit as he remembers some talk of nibbling which probably wasn't as strictly 'diplomatic' as could have been. He removes his thumb from the hole, and runs a finger around it. "I must admit they're not quite symetrical, but thank you. I shall keep practicing as much as Brid allows." The bluerider then shakes his head. "However, I'm afraid I must go... So I'll leave the two of you to your business." Pale eyes widen in wonderfully dramatic pain. "The fish is untrue! Oh, oh, my heart! I should have known that anything with blue legs would be fickle." How that makes sense is anyone's best guess, but she's being tragic and is therefore not required to cling to the rules of logic. "I'm glad I only nibbled once, now!" Hand freed she flaps it dismissively at Debajirin before gathering up the costume into a neat bundle. "I should probably go soak this though, before the stains set in," she says in less achingly broken tones, "Like the rider, I too must go! Try not to die of heartbreak..." With a last grin, that serving as farewell, she sweeps towards the lower caverns. Isoldi walks to the Southern Caverns.
