an interview with Mrs. Lorilyn M. Chiong
Q: Honestly, is their any doubtness in handling
KASILAG? Ma'am Chiong: Before, because I want to handle Nakpil
with Mr. Mendoza???
Q: Did you have a lot of good or bad expectations
from us? Ma'am Chiong: NONE???
Q: Are you having a hard time in handling
KASILAG? Ma'am Chiong: Sometimes, if some of them give/s a lot of
headache ;p
Q: What lessons in life could you share to the
KASILAG's to help them fulfill their dreams? Ma'am Chiong: A lot
of lessons but the most important thing I always remind them is to
do the best and don't forget to seek for the guidance of the LORD in
fulfilling their dreams?
Q: What are the lessons you learned from them that
help strengthen your abilities and skills in teaching? Ma'am
Chiong: I learn how to mingle with them deeply, up to the point that
they usually ask for advice and open up something really personal. I
think it helps me a lot in dealing with different students
especially in my way of teaching, I know how to adjust easily?
Q: What are the experiences that you have
encountered in KASILAG that mold you to a better person? Ma'am
Chiong: When they prepared a surprise presentation during my
birthday last November 13. It was really a surprise. I didn't expect
that they would do that because I was always angry with them about
their behavior inside the classroom, about their grades, and about
their study habits. It's really a matter for me, because somehow I
feel important, that some of my students treasured me as their
MOTHER, FRIEND and TEACHER(ahw???)
