| Kasib was recruited from Butler Community County College by Bobby Knight. He was part of the first team Bobby Knight coached at Texas Tech. Kasib excelled while playing for Knight. In his first year at Texas Tech he was named : Big 12 All Underrated Team by the sports writers Honorable Mention All Big 12 by the coaches Ranked among conference leaders in Assists /turnover rate- 2.92/1 Field goal shooting- .484 Scoring - 14.7ppg Rebounds - 5.7rpg Kasib led the Red Raiders in Assists and rebounds and was the teams second leading scorer. |

| At the end of Kasib's senior year he finished with 15.6 pts, 6.1 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game Kasib was the first player in the Big 12 Tournament to have a Triple Double. (12pts, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists) Kasib was the Team Captain and was well respected by his teammates. Kasib graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Communications |
