2/2/2009 To everyone who reads my blogs I apologize for taking so long. I am back in the United States and back to playing in the Developmental League. I have been away enjoying the Holidays with my family. Right now I am in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I have played 4 games with the team and we are 2-2. Overall we are 14-12. I have been playing solid, Averg 17 points, 4 reb, 4 assists. I know I can play better but it took a couple of games to get use to the speed of american players. We have a big game against a team that we have just lost to and that's our rival, Dakota Wizards. It really doesn't help that we have to play them in there arena, but if we play like we are capable of we should be fine. It is good to be back but tough also. I have mixed emotions. For example... many people have asked me if I am happy to be back. My answer would be NO. I would rather be in Miami getting ready to guard Kobe. But I knew that Sioux Falls was the best place for me to ge back to where I want to be. This is the place that got me to the top level, the NBA. I feel that this can happen again through hardwork and winning.

3/7/2009 Hello All! I am sorry for waiting this long to Blog. I will blog twice a week to make up for it. The last week or so has been very frustrating for me. Right now we are tied for the last playoff spot so every game is important. Last week we lost to our division leader and two days later beat them. We should have won both of those games. Last night we lost to the team that we are tied with for the 8th spot. We play them again Sunday and it's a must win. Our team seems to take steps forward and then a few steps back.  Almost like we are stuck in quick sand and whenever we are out of the mud we find ourseleves battling for air again.
I have been playing well  but my minutes have been limited because of an injury I had. I injured my left calf and had to miss 4 games. The frustrating part is missing games and having your time limited due to an injury. I am healthy now and  look forward to taking this league over and making a playoff run. We deserve to be in the playoffs !

3/11/2009  What's going on all my people? Tonight is Wednesday night and tomorrow after practice we go on a west coast road trip that includes stops at Reno Nevada, Provo Utah, Los Angeles, Anaheim, and Bakersfield ( All in California). We play 5 games in 10 days. I'm excited to get this road trip started because it is an uphill battle. We have lost 3 out of our last 4 games. In a playoff race that has us sitting at the 10th spot. We could easily feel sorry for ourself and throw in the towel and take the easy way out. No one said that it was going to be easy, so we are ready for the challenge.
Right now basketball is at its high point.  (Sorry I lied, The NBA playoffs is when basketball is at its high.) We have playoff races in the NBA, conference tourney in college, and my high school (Teaneck High) just won the county tourny. Also you can tune in to my roadtrip and keep up with my stats.

4/27/2009  Hello to all my readers. This is my last blog of the season before the spring and summer, where I will focus my attention on my foundation the K.P. Youth Foundation. If you haven't seen by now, the season didn't end the way I wanted or expected. We lost crucial games that would have clinched us a play off spot. We ended the season 1 game out of the play off race. The way the season ended was disappointing. However, I am back 100% healthy and finished the year off with strong performances. Its too early to tell if I will be back next year but my concern right now is playing where I belong, in the NBA!.
Late last week I met with my agent to see where my next destination would be. You know... what hotel, in what city, room service menu, does the paystation hook up too the TV. Those are things that run through my mind because who ever is on the court is irrelevant. Not being cocky, but I have seen and played against every type of player there is. Guys with big names, 7 footers, the quickest point guards, and probably your favorite college player. What I have learned is it isn't them that will get me a job, it is myself. God controls my paths not another free agent or player with a contract. With that being said I'm going to be playing in the NBA Summer Leagues trying to impress General Managers, Scouts, and Coaches. Email me on your thoughts and questions.
