This week has been long, we played two road games but the road trip lasted 1 week with all the travel. We flew to Kazan, Russia and played the 2nd place team in the league. We lost by 12 pts but I felt like we could have won. Kazan was a great city. The people there was nice and welcoming. From Kazan we traveled 9 hours by bus. The roads were so bad from all the snow it took us longer than we expected. We took 2 buses, the first bus broke down twice and we switched to another one 6 hours into the trip. We finally reached Samara, Russia where we played our next game. This time we took care of business. We won by over 40 points.

I am back in St. Petersburgh now preparing for my next game on Feb. 10th. The team we are going to play is a good team and we will need a good week of practice to beat them. It feels good to be back in St. Petersburgh. I will get a chance to see more of the city and explore some of the great sites here. Soon I will post some pics that I am taking here on the website.
