| **************************Summer SAT Prep Course*************************** In an effort to address the student-athlete's need for additional academic support and college preparation, K.P. Youth Foundation (in partnership with the Teaneck High school Forum) will provide a four-week SAT Prep course free of charge to Teaneck residents (grades 11-12), giving preference to student-athletes. In many instances, low SAT scores serve as a barrier for admittance into Division 1 college programs. This course will provide an opportunity for student-athletes to acquire and/or practice the skills necessary for success on the SAT 1 standardized test. |
| The SAT Prep Course includes: Math SAT Prep Critical Reading/Writing SAT Prep Motivational Forums- Two motivational forums are scheduled to educate students on topics such as NCAA regulations for college recruitment and admissions; importance for academic achievement, team work and living a healthy lifestyle. Case Management- Students will meet with a case manager (atleast once) to discuss potential obstacles to success and to develop an individualized plan for addressing these issues. |

Youth Foundation in Partnership with the Teaneck High School Forum Sponsors a Free Summer SAT Prep Course for Teaneck residents (entering the 11 &12 grade) Courses will run from July 2 ,2009-Aug 3, 2009 Critical Reading/Writing Tues,Thurs - 9:30-11:30, or 12-2pm Math Mon, Wed - 9:30-11:30, or 12-2pm Case Management services and Motivational forums are included Location: Teaneck High School Pre-Registration Required Space is Limited Lottery will be held on June 19th $50 deposit is required on all applications. Deposit is refunded upon successful completion of program.
