| Steve Lee gives the railfans a great show as 844 leads the train through an S-curve just east of Canon City, CO. NOTE: If anyone has the Pentrex videotape of the Royal Gorge Excursion the videographer was standing next to me when I shot these shots. |

| A bridge over a culvert makes for a great shot of the big Northern as it passes by lit by a setting sun. About 100 railfans were standing on the bridge over the tracks. |
| These photos show 844 as it exits the tunnel at the crest of Tennessee Pass. The peak is just over 10,000 ft. My dad loves the picture directly above he says it looks like the Stay-puf marshmallow man is sitting on the locomotive. NOTE: Again the Pentrex videographer was standing about 10 feet from me when I shot these pictures |
