Graffitti Cars ARTWORK or CRIMINAL ACTS
As a Police officer I would have to arrest someone if I saw them spray painting a railroad car. However after seeing some of the examples of the work below I wish that these ARTISANS would choose a different palate. I think some of there work is exceptional. But does it have to be on a railcar. Let me know what you think E-mail at [email protected]

Photo taken on January 16, 2002 on Jones Island in Milwaukee, WI. The lettering on the graffitti might be a little hard to read but it says "Fathers Day 2000". The work is quite impressive. And yes that is an old Milwaukee Road passenger car in the rear. It has been sitting in the same spot for about 5 years. Keith Schmidt
This car is in the same string of cars as the Fathers Day car. Picture was taken on the same day. There were other cars with more graffitti on it. I felt these two cars were some of the best. However there was another car that I could not get at which celebrates Halloween. It was hidden behind some other cars. That car has been produced in N-scale in a limited run Graffitti car. The work on that cars in unbelievable.

This car was spotted on Jones Island near Continental Grain Elevator on Friday May 10, 2002. I actually spotted it from the freeway about a 1/2 mile to the east of the car.

This car was shot at Jones Island in Milwaukee, WI on Tuesday May 21, 2002. A very interesting paint job where the Dragon (?) is actually holding a small version of the painted up car. Even a portrait of a "Tagger" doing his thing. K. Schmidt 2002
