Photos from Canada Trip June 2003
Another highlight of the trip was to see the "Canadian". This is what a passenger train should look like. This stop is Red Lake Road.

This is the perfect ending to a passenger train. A domed observation car not a string of road railers and a FRED.
Here some vintage CP equipment is on display at a small railroad museum in Kenora, Ontario.
Even though this is not actually in Canada it is right across the border in International Falls. This is the world headquarters of the Minnesota Dakota and Western Railroad. They run a roster of 5 S-2 Alcos.
Here is one of the MDW S-2's doing some remote control switching in Int Falls, MN
This vintage boxcar from the Great Northern was sitting near the enginehouse on the MDW.
Here a CN train heads south between International Falls and the Twin Cities.
