Many people today think that eggs, butter, and red meat causes cholesterol, and meats, nuts and oil cause fat. But this fear of cholesterol and fat is not grounded in scientific fact. cholesterol and fat are essential to life. If you do not eat cholestrol and fat you will be on the accelerated metabolic aging track, which leads to disease and ealier death. Cholesterol and fat are used by the body as building material for constant replenishment and are supposed to come from dietary sources. eating cholesterol and fat do no cause heart disease. In fact you must eat them to avoid heart disease. I have come to believe that the more good fats people eat, the healthier they become. Functions of cholesterol in the body.
