A Special Mother's Day

Every year on Mother's Day, I would think of you and pray
That God would hear my message and bring you back to me some day
Just when I thought He wasn't listening, He made my wish come true
He filled my heart with happiness, and brought me back to you
On every single Mother's Day, In my heart I always knew
That one day I would finally get, to say "Happy Mother's Day" to you
Knowing you is a blessing, No words can ever explain
How good it feels to have you, In my life once more again
Please know that I'm proud of you Mom, For all the tears you cried
For everything you went through, For all the times you've tried
I know you did the best for me, How hard that must of been
To give me up to someone else, in hopes of finding me again
I love you Mom, with all my heart, I just wanted you to know
I never did stop loving you, from the day you let me go
But now the broken bond has mended, Our dreams have all come true
And now I get the chance to say "Happy Mother's Day" to you
Thank you Mom for everything, and for keeping me in your heart
Through all the years that destiny, chose for us to be apart
God gave me an angel in my life, to walk with me and guide me
He brought us back together, so you could walk beside me
