Hi!!  My name is Kim, and I am the mother of twin girls.  Amber and Valarie are my pride & joy.  They keep me busy.  When the girls went to preschool, I also went back to school.  I was on my way to make a dream become a reality.  When Valarie was sick with Leukemia, I admired the nurses that took care of her, and wanted to be able to help others as they helped my family.  After 2 years of school, I am now an LPN.  I work at my local hospital.  One of the departments I like to work in best is OB.  It can be the happiest place to work, unfortunately it can also be the saddest place to work.  I like to work with the newborns, and I like to see the parents reactions when they realize that the 9 months of waiting is over.
While going to school, I became friends with many people, but one still remains my best friend.  Laura is someone I can go to with all my problems.  She has been there for me for many occassions - some happy and some sad.  I would have to say that Laura knows me best.
Some of the things I like to do are:  Sewing, Oil Painting, Crafts, Cooking, Reading, and playing on the computer.
I come from a family with 5 children, and I am the youngest.  I don't know how my mom did everything.  Sometimes I have problems getting everything done and I only have 2 kids.      LOL.
My husband and I met when we were in high school.  He is the love of my life.  I know he will always be there for me, no matter what.  He is my blonde hair, blue eyed angel.  He may appear rough around the edges, but in reality, he has a heart of gold.  He is always helping others when the need arises.
I have met many interesting people on the net.  I have actually met face to face with one.  She is an angel of a lady.  Deb is the sweetest, kindest person I know.  She is the lady that inspired me to make my web page.  Thanks Deb for everything. 
My life may not be very exciting, but I am lucky, because I have a wonderful family, two adorable girls, and some terrific friends.
