Buddham saranam gacchami

I take refuge in the Buddha, the Enlightened One.

Dhammam saranam gacchami

I take refuge in the Dhamma, Teaching of the Buddha

Sangham saranam gacchami

I take refuge in the Sangha, Order of the Buddha.

Dutiyampi Buddham saranam gacchami

For the second time, I take refuge in the Buddha, the Enlightened One.

Dutiyampi Dhammam saranam gacchami

For the second time, I take refuge in the Dhamma, Teaching of the Buddha
