Different Fruit Colors Have Different Benefits.
It has been found that the wider variety of fruit colors found on your plate the more beneficial chemicals you are receiving.
Reds:   Red and pink fruits contain an antioxidant called lycopene. This chemical can be found in tomatoes, watermelon, papaya and guava. Lycopene is being studied for its ability to fight some cancers and heart disease.

Orange:   Orange color contains  beta-carotene, also a carotenoid which is an oxidant which may help inhance the immune system. Orange fruits also contains vitamin C and vitamin E. Folat, a B vitamin is also found in orange fruits. It may help prevent some birth defects and reduce the risk of heart disease.
Blues/Purples: Blue and purple fruits contain flavanoids, phytochemicals and antioxidants. Anthocynin, a phytochemical is being studied for roles in defense against harmful carciogens. Other blue and purple fruits contain vitamin C, folic acid and are high in fiber and potassium.
Yellow: Yellow fruits have many of the same chemicals as orange fruits but they also contain bromelain which helps aid in digestion and reduce bloating. Some yellow fruits are also high in fiber,
