First and foremost take time to look after yourself,I know the baby will ask for more than 24 hours a day :).Take mom's time when you have dad or other family members to change diapers. 1.Enjoy a wide range of foods. Meals rich in carbohydrates, protein, fats, vitamins and minerals will help with your energy level and overall health. 3.A good portion of your meals should come from complex carbohydrates, such as whole-grains.They provide vitamins, minerals and fiber. 4.Protein foods are rich sources of minerals, like iron and zinc, along with some vitamins 5.Fats are also important for a healthy eating plan. 6.3 fruits and 3 vegetables daily. 7.3 servings of dairy foods daily.
