1.Do not paint all parts of your painting to full detail.just concentrate on a part where to take the viewer and focus on that point.

2.Without grays your colors will not be attractive.

3.Set different moods/emotions in your paintings.

4.What strokes you choose(direction and brush thickness) should be decided by the texture of the object you are painting.eg., for feathers choose ultra thin bristles.

5.Getting the same color next time ,for the same color spot is not as easy as it seems.Just change the saturation w/o changing the colour.

6.Always a thin black border for all colors, in cartoonish paintings make the colors more colorful.

7.The 80-20 rule applies here too.80% of time will be needed for the final touch and perfect finishing.
