Managed staff of 4 employees guiding and directing them in demand  & supply chain management

¨       Nokia - $1.5Mn inventory reduction/ITO improvemeent from 4.5 to 6.5 in FY’04 and working on $500K reduction/expected ITO improvement from 6.5 to 7.5 in FY’05. Cisco - $750K Inventory reduction/ITO improvement from 5.0 to 6.0 in FY’04 and working on $500K reduction/expected ITO improvement from 6.0 to 7.0 in FY’05

-        Trend line analysis of weekly FG pulls (past 12 mths demand history) use to smoothen demand by 4 week moving average

-        Transitioned from rolling to fixed safety stock based on combination of standard deviation of demand and service levels needed depending on seasonal quarters.

¨       Managed the business forecast and supply chain activities associated with the scale down of Marconi operations in North America and the production ramp up in Asia

­        Including this database as a tool in intranet to facilitate commodity managers or divisions to get reports by HTS Code from China Customs database.         

¨       Manage the process, people and pricing for electronic components negotiation database in assisting Corporate Commodity Managers to analyze inflation/deflation by commodity code.

¨       Manage commodity outlook charts  for supply, demand, technology and pricing for electronic, electro-mechanical components for internal and external presentations.

¨       Team member in the development of Nortel Product Data Archive system.

­        Designed engineering and supplier database with ER diagrams and developed system specifications for hosting product data from Nortel Networks PDM system for archive and future updates.

­        Moderated  business process discussions for implementing an Engineering Change system to manage the approval and revision control of product documents of models before the release to  production at factory. A Lotus Notes application was created to automate the approval workflow  and revision control was integrated with the Nortel Product Data Archive system.
