¨       Nokia - $1.5Mn inventory reduction/ITO improvemeent from 4.5 to 6.5 in FY’04 and working on $500K reduction/expected ITO improvement from 6.5 to 7.5 in FY’05. ¨       Team member in the development of Nortel Product Data Archive system.

­        Designed engineering and supplier database with ER diagrams and developed system specifications for hosting product data from Nortel Networks PDM system for archive and future updates.

­        Moderated  business process discussions for implementing an Engineering Change system to manage the approval and revision control of product documents of models before the release to  production at factory. A Lotus Notes application was created to automate the approval workflow  and revision control was integrated with the Nortel Product Data Archive system.

• Create & Manage user experience of New Products web site in the company intranet. Manage the development of New Products Information system - a central collection point for all new products related communication and knowledge within the company in which every employee can participate actively. Architecture used -  SQL server 7.0 for database and CFM application software to develop web application.
• Search engine was devised to query design  issues from problem Logs -  Design for Manufacturability and Design for Testability occurring in new products. This information was made available for Engineering to analyze the repetitive problems. Action plan to resolve repetitive design issues were presented during monthly engineering review to senior management , which lead to improvement in the quality of designs of new products.
• Created and managed an interim New products information database in MS Access, which was used for the new products intranet web site.
• Completely automated the report generation for product status report, forecast reports, revenue reports etc, which lead to productivity improvement of program managers.
• Represent Project Management department as a part of the PDM core team to evaluate the PDM software from Parametric Technology Corporation’s Windchill and EDS Metaphase.
